Born in Landsthul, Germany, a son of Ingrid Brengel Klink of Spring Hill, FL, and the late Milton John Klink, Mr. Klink was a truck driver with Richelieu Hardware Corp. and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Duncan. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Frances Kay Klink of the home; a step-daughter, Tina Jennell Arnold and her husband, Aaron, of Greenville and their son, Nathan Arnold; a step-son, Chris Peacock of Florida; four brothers, Milton Klink of San Antonia, TX, Christian Klink of Oregon, and Eric Klink and David Klink, both of Simpsonville; a sister, Sandra Murray of Hudson, FL; and his step-father, Ernest Sparks of Spring Hill, FL. services will be 3:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson -Downtown, Easley, with Rev. Obituary: COLUMBIA Morris Alfred Kline, age 90, died peacefully on , 21, 2016, at his home on Lake Murray in Lexington, SC. Morris was born on 16, 1925, in Columbia, South Carolina and was the son of the late Myer and Ella Kline. He graduated from Dreher High School and attended North Carolina State University before enlisting in the US Army. He served with the 84th Infantry Division during World War II and was injured at the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium. He was decorated with two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. He was Vice President of Kline Iron & Steel in Columbia. Morris married Claire Rose Eisman from Charlotte, North Carolina on 3, 1948 and they were best friends for over 68 years. Claire lovingly supported many of Morris’s interests, which included piloting sailplanes and airplanes, sailing on Lake Murray, oil painting, sculpting, building model ships and steam engines, and metalworking. In 1993, he received the “Spirit of Flying” award from the Experimental Aircraft Association. With great love and generosity, Morris was devoted to his family throughout his life. His children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends surrounded him during his final days as he spoke fondly to each and every one. Morris never met a stranger and acquired a large circle of devoted friends over the years. His gentle humor was a constant source of laughter. Morris is survived by his wife, Claire; daughter, Nancy (Joel) Gottlieb of Columbia; sons, Dr. Robert (Kathie) Kline, of Asheville, N.C., Dr. Michael (Connie) Kline of Morehead City, N.C.; grandchildren, Ryan, Robin, Seraph Grace, Elyse, Max and Lily; great-grandchildren, Maya, Ethan, Morgan and Chloe; and brothers, Harold (Rose) Kline and Sol (Tootsie) Kline. Graveside services will be held on , 23, 2016, at 11am in Hebrew Benevolent . Dunbar , Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
