Obituary: HERMAN J. KOHLHEPP, Jr. age 91 Of Xenia, formerly of Minster, passed away at 2:05 PM on , 29, 2015 at the Hospice of Dayton. He was born on 18, 1924 in Columbus, Ohio the son of Herman J., Sr. and Kathleen M. (Forquer) Kohlhepp. On 13, 1946 he married Katherene E. Kitty Guenther, who died on May 28, 2008. Survivors include a son Charles E. (Teresa) Kohlhepp of Xenia, two grandchildren Jason Kohlhepp of Fairborn, and Erin (Scott) Hartke of Mechanicsburg. Along with his wife, Herman was preceded in death by a son Lawrence H. Kohlhepp, and sister Elizabeth (Robert) Dickenson of Gahanna. Herman was a former member of the St. ine Catholic Church in Minster. He served in the US Army during WWII as a Medical Technician in the Medical Corp. It was during this time that he met Kitty, who would later become his wife. He taught Industrial Arts for many years at the Minster Local Schools and retired in 1978. He set up the first machine tool operator program for implementing the Manpower Development and Training Act of 1962 (MDTA) in the state of Ohio and taught programs from 1963-67. He and Kitty also trained and served on the first Minster Area Life Squad in 1975. A time of visitation will be held beginning at 10:00 A.M. , 5, 2015 at the St. Brigid Catholic Church, 312 Fairgrounds Road, Xenia, Ohio 45385. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:30 A.M. with the Rev. John Krumm officiating. Private inurnment will take place at a later date in the St. Joseph of Lockbourne, Ohio. Condolences to the Kohlhepp family may be left online at gilberghartwigfh.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420) in Hermans memory. |

Obituary:             Wanda I. (Stotts) Kohler, 86, passed away 19, 2016 at her residence in Wapakoneta. She was born on 30, 1929, in Lima, to Denver & Zelma (Meeker) Stotts, who have preceded her in death. On 13, 1949, she married Theodore J. Kohler, who passed away on 4, 1985. Survivors include three daughters, Joanne L. Kohler, of Wapakoneta, Betty & Jeff Arnold, of Lima, and Peg & Mike Schwartz, of Delphos; a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann “Annie†Kohler; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her doting feline companion, Snickers. Wanda was preceded in death by three children, Mary A. Long, Edward E. Kohler, and Theresa M. Anderson; two sisters, Alice Tompkins and Marjorie Brown; and two brothers, Wilbur Stotts and Eugene Stotts. For many years, Wanda worked in the Hub Room at the Wapak Truck Stop. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Wapakoneta Eagles Aerie 691 for almost 50 years.  In her free time, Wanda could be found playing cards, Chinese checkers, or working on a word search. She enjoyed watching The Price Is Right, following her Cincinnati Reds, anything John Wayne, or her favorites, National Lampoon and Uncle Buck. If she wasn’t home, chances were she was out for a car ride. She loved getting picked by her family and friends, going for a drive, looking at the scenery. were probably going to stop and get something to eat, or do some shopping at K-Mart. Above all, she was just happy to be surrounded by her family. Scheduling reunions and holiday parties, anything to get them all together and spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. , 24, 2016 at Schlosser & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Father Sean Wilson will officiate and burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic .
