Obituary: David Michael Klinge, 55, of Raleigh, died peacefully , 23, 2010 at his home. David was born 2, 1955 in Pittsburgh, PA to Harold Frank and Ruth Ann Klinge. He was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte. He was an honors graduate from UNC Chapel Hill. He also received his Masters of Business Administration from UNC Chapel Hill where he was elected to the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society. He was a gentle soul and passionate outdoorsman who was loved and admired by all who knew him. David was Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Commercial Lending with Bank of America in Raleigh and a member of Hayes Barton United Methodist Church. David was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Younts Klinge; mother, Ruth Ann Gierl Klinge of Clearwater, FL; daughter, Mary Allison Klinge of Raleigh; brother, Harold Frank Klinge, Jr. and his wife, Helen of Tamarac, FL; sister, Ruth Ann Klinge Lochner and her husband, John of Bradenton, FL. A memorial service will be held on 26 at 2 p.m. at Hayes Barton United Methodist Church, 2209 Fairview Road, Raleigh, NC 27608-2240. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. Obituary: Mrs. Virginia Elizabeth Tia Kling, 82, formerly of Greensboro, died , 29, 2017 at her daughters home in Winston-Salem. A service to celebrate her life will be held at two oclock in the afternoon at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Chapel, where she was a member. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. Virginia was born in 1934 in Fitchburg, MA, the daughter of Joseph Paine and Vieno Liloiva Paine. Virginia was employed by the Cochran Insurance Agency in Fitchburg, MA and later at Lorillard Tobacco in Greensboro where she was the receptionist. She would best be remembered as the life of the workplace, always having fun with whomever was around her. Her strong, determined and courageous character combined with her great sense of humor made Virginia a very special person who was easily loved by all who were lucky enough to meet her. Her humor continued even in her declining health, never complaining, but always finding light in any situation. Virginia enjoyed watching her shows, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and Criminal Minds. Most of all Virginia enjoyed spending time and taking care of her family. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Siegfried, and her sister and brother in law, Betty and Vincent Cefole. Surviving are her children, Heidi Wicker of Winston-Salem and Walter Kling of Greensboro; brother, Donald Paine of Fitchburg, MA; grandson, Brannon Kling of Greensboro; and many extended family members, all of whom she loved dearly. The family would like to say a special thank-you to niece, Robin Clinard, and neighbor Jan Branon for their loving help and support during Virginias decline in health.
