Obituary: Mae Lutz Kling passed peacefully into the hands of the Lord on 14, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was a native Mobilian, born on 5, 1916 to Elizabeth H. and Robert E. Lutz. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Colonel Carl V. Kling, U.S. Army; three brothers and three sisters. Mae was a devoted wife and mother and accompanied her husband on his world-wide military assignments, where she was active in the military and civilian communities in which they lived. She was a life-long Catholic and a member of the St. Ignatius parish for 45 years. She is survived by her son, Carl V. Kling, Jr., of Mobile; daughter, Anne K. Browne, Niceville, FL; grandchildren, Robert W. Trieschmann, II, Baton Rouge, LA; Leigh T. Bradford (Chris), Fairview, TX; Andrew W. Browne (Amelia), Amman, Jordan; Charles E. Browne (Martha), Charlotte, NC; Cynthia Browne, New Orleans, LA and her great-grandchildren; Elizabeth Bradford, Katherine Bradford, William Bradford, Thomas Browne, Gabrielle Browne, Matthew Browne and Hannah Browne. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on , 19, 2016 from St. Ignatius Catholic Church with burial to follow in Pine Crest . The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the wonderful caregivers and staff of Crown Place Assisted Living of Springhill; Caring Hands Services and Gentiva Hospice, all of whom provided so much care with both love and dignity. Obituary: Rosemary (nee Besstak) Klesty, 91, passed away 1, 2017, at home surrounded by her family after a month-long illness. She was a graduate of Mount St. Joseph Academy in Buffalo, NY, and after high school worked as a secretary for the Buffalo Insurance . In 1949, she married Alexander J. Klesty, who later became vice president of Gurney, Becker & Bourne Insurance in Buffalo. her marriage, she was a homemaker who became known as an excellent cook. She delighted in shopping for and preparing meals for family and friends, reading cookbooks, and creating new recipes. She enjoyed music, especially a boogie-woogie beat, and learned to play the organ as an adult. Collecting sparkling costume jewelry was her favorite hobby, and she also liked watching old movies. She had a kind, generous spirit and loved the pet dogs she had through the years. the death of her husband of 40 years in 1989, she relocated from Williamsville, NY, to the Atlanta, GA, area to be near her daughter and only child, Kim (Harry) McCormick, who survives her with a heavy heart and a profound sense of loss. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews. Her beloved sister was the late Joan Silver of Rock Hill, SC, formerly of Buffalo, NY. |
