Obituary: Services for r Kynerd will be held , at 2 p.m., at Stephens Chapel with the Revs. Randy Caldwell and Lyn McRaney officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant in Kemper with Stephens in charge of arrangements. Mr. Kynerd, 90, of Kemper , died , Jan. 14, 2011, at his residence. He was retired from the State of Mississippi and was a cattle farmer. Survivors include his son, Mike Kynerd and wife, Patsy of Kemper ; daughter, Jan Kynerd Griffin of Kemper and Duffee; brother, V. C. "Pete" Kynerd and wife Velma of Kemper ; nephew, Rusty Kynerd and wife Jane of Philadelphia; niece, Ginger Reihn and husband Rick of North Carolina; grandchildren: John Kynerd and wife Lori, and Sarah Cook, all of Kemper , and Dave Miller and wife Kasie of Duffee; great-grandchildren: Kristen Kynerd, Colton Kynerd, Jackson Cook, Luke Miller and Kalie Miller. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Wilma Chisolm Kynerd; and, parents, r C. and Alma Kynerd. Pallbearers will be John Kynerd, Dave Miller, Shane Cook, Rusty Kynerd, Kenny Miles and Howell Harbour Jr. Visitation will be today, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Stephens in Meridian. |
