Obituary: Kotwicki, Ernestine J., age 96, of White Lake, passed away 6, 2016. Ernestine was the life of the party and her laughter was contagious. She brought out the best in people, as they could tell she had a sincere interest in them. She had a deep faith, was a supporter of the local Catholic Church she attended, and sang in the choir. She could play piano by ear, as well as read music, had a wonderful singing voice and loved to dance the jitterbug. But most of all she loved her family. It always came first in her life. Ernestine and her late husband Victor raised 5 children and is survived by Christine (the late Jim) Prusaitis, Victor (Sally) Kotwicki, Mark (Frances) Kotwicki, Paul (Dora) Kotwicki and Mary (Bill) Dorais. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held , 11, 2016 from 2:00-8:00 pm with a Rosary Service at 6:00pm, at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son , 3295 E. Highland Rd. Highland, MI 48356. Mass will be held on 12, 2016 at 11:00 am (In State at 10:00 am) at St. Patricks Church, 9086 Hutchins Rd. White Lake, MI 48386. |

Obituary: Edward Victor Kotwicki died on , 6, 2017 at the age of 38. He was born on 7, 1978 in Detroit, Michigan. Edward was a graduate of De La Salle Collegiate High School, class of 1997. He obtained a full ride scholarship in football at Central Michigan University. Edward continued his studies at General Motors Institute/Kettering University as well as Reutlingen University in Germany. He graduated in 2001 with a bachelor degree in electrical engineering. He enjoyed working with computers and spending the weekend out boating or downhill skiing. He will be remembered for his many accomplishments in football and track. Loving son of Mark and Frances Kotwicki. Dear grandson of Florence Start, the late Edward Start, the late Victor Kotwicki, and the late Ernestine Kotwicki. Brother of Mark II (Nicole) Kotwicki and Rachel Kotwicki. Uncle of Betty Kotwicki and George Kotwicki. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation for Edward will be 11, 2017 from 2:00pm until 9:00 PM at A.H. Peters , 32000 Schoenherr Rd, at Masonic in Warren. He will lie in state , 12, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass 10:30 A.M. at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 31555 Hoover Rd, Warren MI 48093. Obituary: NORWAY - Eugene W. Kotwica, 68, of Norway, died , 10, 2010, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical in Iron Mountain. He was born Oct. 22, 1941, in Cleveland, the son of the late Walter and Florence (Batorski) Kotwica. Eugene served a lifetime career in the U.S. Navy. He served in the Cuban Missile Crisis and had achieved the rank of chief petty officer. He was also an instructor. Eugene moved from Antioch, Ill. to Norway in 2000. Eugene enjoyed gardening and raising all types of animals. He was very fond of his cocker spaniels, Sandy and Tiffany. He married Mildred Klauck on May 20, 1961. She preceded him in death on Aug. 29, 2009. Eugene is survived by three children, Karrie Lynn, Dianna Larson, and Kevin (Jessica) Kotwica, all of Norway; six grandchildren, Eugene Trusky, Samantha Trusky, Shawn Monteros, Evette Kotwica, Bailey Harris, and Gage Kotwica; his fiance, Karen Rosengren of Iron River and her family. He was preceded in death by one son, Robin Kotwica and one brother, Wayne Kotwica. Visitation will be held tonight from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Norway Baptist Church, located at 730 Brown St. services will be held at 7 p.m. tonight at the church. Pastor Brent Belford will officiate. Burial will be in Park. Condolences to the family of Eugene W.
