Obituary: Rose Ann Kleisinger, age 85 of Warren, died , 14, 2014 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. She was born 3, 1929 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, daughter of the late Martin and the late Pelogia (nee: Budzinski) Sowinski. From infancy to young adulthood, Rose enjoyed the simplicity and traditions of a rural upbringing. Hailing from the state of Minnesota, she grew up on the family farm and learned the meaning of working hard. As her dreams began to take vision, she heard that the real job opportunities were coming from the Motor Capital in Detroit, so its there that she headed to make her new home and find gainful employment. It didn take long before she was hired at Champion Spark Plug where she was assigned as a machinist for the automotive supplier. She enjoyed a long and rewarding career with Champion, which included a very special perk. It was there at the workplace that she met the love of her life, Jacob, the man with whom she promised herself in marriage. As much as Rose loved her work at Champion, the desire to be a Mom and raise a family began to tug at her heart, and so the next few years found her taking a break from the job and focusing her love and energies into the raising of four beautiful children. Once they were grown and on their own, guess where Rose returned? You got it…back to the Ol Stompin Grounds at Champion Spark Plug. She went on to give them the best of what she could offer…right up until the time of her retirement following many years of loyal and dedicated employment. When she wasn on the job, Roses strong work ethics kept her quite busy at home. In the summer time, especially, youd often find her tending to her flower garden of which she held much pride. Possessing those green thumb talents that are needed for such a task, Roses garden received the utmost in tender-loving-care and provided family, friends and neighbors a vision of beauty. Though the garden reigned supreme, she really wasn picky about what she was doing,…she simply enjoyed being outside and working to keep things nice. As for her indoor delights, those came in the form of a little television entertainment with her favorites being the daytime soap operas and the great old westerns,…especially Gunsmoke. Rose was also a collector, and she always kept a keen eye out for angel statues. But in listing the aspects of Roses life that brought her the most joy, there is no question or doubt that her precious grandchildren were definitely at the top. She loved them beyond words and enjoyed spending time with them making the memories that she held closest to her heart. A grandmothers love is something unique and special, and Rose added her own flair to that love that was both revered and treasured. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Rose leaves a legacy of love that will forever be fondly remembered and deeply embraced. She touched a multitude of hearts in her journey through life, and made an impact that will never be forgotten. She will be missed immensely and loved eternally. Rose was the beloved wife of the late Jacob. Dearest mother of Sandra Kleisinger, Gregory (Johanna) Kleisinger, Chris (Patricia) Kleisinger and Laura Cross. Loving grandmother of Kelly (Bill) Lenneman, Amanda Kleisinger, Brian Cross II, Jennifer & Jacob Kleisinger, Adam, Zachary & Garrett Cross, and great-grandmother of Cameron and Haley. Sister of Edward (Leona) Sowinski, the late Frances, and the late Marian. Rose will lie in state on , 18th from 11:30am until time of the Mass at 12:00pm (noon) at St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Catholic Church, St. Clement Campus in Line, Michigan. Interment will follow at St. Clement in Line.
