Obituary: Marilyn (Mulhall) "Mickie" Keough passed away peacefully in her home on 5. Born in Omaha, Nebraska on 20, 1926, Mickie was a graduate of nearby Duchesne . While enrolled at Duchesne she met her husband, Donald Raymond Keough, who pre-deceased her in of 2015. pursuing her vocation as an educator at Good Shepherd Convent School, the couple was married in Omaha on 10, 1949, and welcomed six children, all of whom survive her. Don's career with The Coca-Cola brought the young family first to Houston and eventually to Atlanta in 1973. While the foundations of Mickie's life were family and faith, she was deeply involved in the Atlanta community. She and Don were benefactors of The Cathedral of Christ The King, The Lovett School and committed supporters of the arts, particularly the High Museum and the Atlanta Opera. Mickie was also a longtime member of the Forward Arts Foundation and the Mimosa Garden Club. Additionally, Mickie was a former trustee of Spelman , and in 1998 she received an honorary doctorate from her beloved University of Notre Dame, where a dormitory stands in her name. Mickie was an avid reader, devouring four newspapers daily and always up-to-date on current events. She was everyone's favorite dinner partner with no shortage of an opinion. Mickie undoubtedly derived her greatest joy from her children and grandchildren. Whether a holiday break in Sea Island, a few days in New York or a family expedition to Ireland, Italy or the British West Indies, Mickie and Don delighted in the presence of family. She is survived by her six children: Kathleen Keough Soto (Gil) of Leander, TX; Mary Shayla Keough Rumely (Chip) of Atlanta; Michael Leo Keough (Jinny) of Atlanta; Patrick John Keough (Megan) of Rye, NY; Eileen Keough Millard (Chris) of Atlanta; Clarke Robert Keough (Beth) of New York. She is also survived by her eighteen grandchildren: Laura Soto of Franklin, TN; Brian Soto ( ) of Leander, TX; Mary Hannah Rumely of Charlotte, NC; Johnny Rumely of Atlanta; Bridget Rumely of Atlanta; Betsy Keough Flood (Matt) of Orlando, FL; Mary Catherine Keough Anderson (Walker) of Atlanta; John Michael Keough of Atlanta; Daniel Patrick Keough of Atlanta; Donald R. Obituary: Donald Raymond Keough, international business leader, philanthropist and prominent Irish-American, who served as president of The Coca-Cola during the 1980s and early 1990s, died 24 of natural causes in Atlanta. He was 88.

Keough served as president, chief operating officer and director of The Coca-Cola from 1981 to 1993. He returned to the companys board in 2004 and served in that capacity until his retirement from the board in 2013.

His career included leadership roles with many other companies and civic and educational organizations, including serving as chairman of the New York investment-banking firm Allen & , from 1993 until his death.

Keough was born Sept. 4, 1926, on a farm near Maurice, Iowa. He was raised in Sioux City, Iowa. serving two years in the U.S. Navy during World War II, Keough attended and graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

Keough began his career as an on-air personality for WOW-TV in Omaha, where he hosted a program called The Coffee Counter. Following his brief television career, he joined Paxton & Gallagher, an Omaha food distribution company that owned the Butter-Nut Coffee brand. In 1962, when the company was purchased by Duncan Foods , Keough and his family moved to Houston, Texas.

Duncan Foods was acquired by The Coca-Cola in 1964, and in 1973 he relocated to the Coca-Cola headquarters in Atlanta.

He served as Chairman of Coca-Cola Enterprises and Columbia Pictures, and was a director of IAC/InterActiveCorp, Berkshire Hathaway, Yankee Global Enterprises LLC, McDonalds Corporation, The Washington Post , H.J. Heinz and The Depot.

Keough was a long time parishioner and supporter of the Cathedral of Christ the King, a former trustee of The Lovett School and a supporter of many causes in Atlanta including, most recently, a gift to the High Museum endowing a permanent curatorial position. In addition, he was chairman emeritus of the Board of Trustees of the University of Notre Dame, as well as a trustee of numerous educational, charitable and civic organizations.


His commitment to Notre Dame helped the university maintain a leadership position in areas such as Irish Studies, Philosophy, Theology and Global Affairs.

Keough received countless honors and awards during his lifetime, including honorary doctorates from his alma mater, Creighton, Notre Dame, Trinity , and University Dublin.

Keoughs deep Irish roots traced to his great-grandfather, Michael Keough, who immigrated to the United States in the 1840s. In 2007, Keough was granted Irish Citizenship by the Government of Ireland.

Donald Keough is survived by his wife, Marilyn, their children, Kathleen Keough Soto and her husband Gilbert, Shayla Keough Rumely and her husband John, Michael Keough and his wife Jinny, Patrick Keough and his wife Megan, Eileen Keough Millard and her husband Chris, Clarke Keough and his wife Beth, 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is planned for 2 from 5 until 7 o'clock in the evening at the Cathedral of Christ the King. A funeral service will be held at the Cathedral of Christ the King on 3 at 10 o'clock in the morning. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a favorite charity such as Cathedral of Christ the King, The University of Notre Dame, The Lovett School, Emory St. Josephs Hospital, The High Museum or The Atlanta Opera.

Jane was the loving wife of the late James B. Kenyon, and is survived by her children, Cynthia Kenyon, Nancy Sont and Charles Kenyon; grandchildren, Kevin Benjamin Gabriel Damen, Virginia Nancy Joyce Damen, Alida Jane Sont, Daniel James Gerard Jarvis Sont and Abraham Willem Jewett Sont; great-grandchildren, Desmond Jean Louis Dumoulin and Zane William Daniel Damen.

Jane was born and raised in Connecticut farmland, the daughter of Francis and Gertrude Jackson, and she had wonderful childhood memories of her family, dogs, goat, and her beloved horse Princess Pat. She attended the of William and Mary, and later moved with her family to Athens in 1963. She was the head administrator of UGAs Department of Physics and Astronomy until her retirement. Jane was kind, funny, and had a great love of life. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held at Bernstein , Athens, on , 30 at 11:00 a.m.

Obituary: Anita was born in Lins, Brazil on 28, 1930 to two Methodist missionaries (Clement Evans and Patience Hubbard). Shes the youngest of five, and all of her siblings-Patience Elizabeth (Pexie), Billy, Stroud(Dave), and Joe- are deceased.

She came to America around the age of 17 and attended LaGrange . Anita graduated around 1949, moved to Florence, South Carolina where she lived with Pexie and her family. While living in Florence, she met the dashing Henry Kenworthy through church activities. married on 30, 1950. Anita and Henry lived in Florence, Spartanburg, and Greenville, South Carolina from 1950 until 1966. The moves were due to Henrys work with the IRS. Their 3 children - Pat (1951), Debbie(1955), and Lisa(1958) - were all born in Florence.

In 1966, Anita, Henry, and their three daughters moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Around 1970, Anita began working at North Decatur United Methodist Church as their secretary and held that position until she retired in 1990. Henry passed away unexpectedly at the age of 64 in of 1987 due to complications from a hernia operation. Anita moved to Carrollton, Georgia in the fall of 1991.

Anita is survived by her loving daughters: Pat (Neil) Bonine, Manassas, VA; Debbie (Keith) Sellars, Whiteville, NC; and Lisa (Jack) Tribble, Carrollton, GA. She is also survived byher grandchildren: David (Melissa) Bonine, Washington, D.C.; Joy (Terry) Quinn, Woodbridge, VA; John (Justina) Bonine, Eagle, Idaho; Shayna Sellars (Publa, Mexico), Nathan (Kristin) Sellars, Nakina, NC; Lindy Sellars, Whiteville, NC; Clifford Tribble, Atlanta, GA and Anna Grace Tribble, Atlanta, GA. Other surviving loved ones include her great-grandchildren: Addison and Caitlyn Bonine, Idaho, and Clyde Sellars, NC, along with sister-in-law Virginia Hubbard and many nieces and nephews.

Anita was an active member of Old Camp United Methodist Church. Anita used to make all of her girls clothes when they were little and even made amazing Barbie doll clothes! Anita knitted many sweaters and vests and also dabbled in ceramics. Having quite the green thumb, Anita sweet-talked African violets into glorious bloom and loved to get her hands in the soil.

Although not a fancy chef, Anitas family loved her homemade biscuits, spaghetti, turkey dressing, banana pudding, and fudge.
