Obituary: Betty Taylor Jones, 81, made her transition to heaven on 19, 2016. She was born to the late Charles and Laurette Taylor on 15, 1934 in West Palm Beach, FL. On 13, 1955 she married the love of her life; Milton L. Jones. were married for 48 years when he made his transition to heaven on 22, 2004. The first 20 years of their marriage she followed him all over the globe during his military career and they raised three wonderful children: Mark L. Jones, Joan L. Stanton and Charles A. Jones. She will always be remembered and greatly loved by them and their spouses; Daniel H. Stanton and Denise 0. Jones. Her life and legacy will forever be blessed by her handsome grandson, Curtis Jones and her five beautiful granddaughters, Jenna Stanton, Chelsey Bixler (spouse - Daniel), Katie Reinhold (spouse - John), Caitlin Jones & Alexis Jones. The newest and brightest jewels in her family is her two great grandchildren: Lana and Kingston Reinhold. While Betty was raising her precious children and her beloved animals, she found time and more love in her heart to give to foster children so that they had the help and nurturing that they needed. She also found time with Milton to volunteer her time at the Hurlburt Air Force Base, Family Services. She filled her days and evenings with friends from the One Plus One group. When she reached her 70s her love of children continued with her joining the Big Brother and Big Sister organization. She found joy and happiness in mentoring a young girl. If she could make them laugh and smile, Betty was at her happiest. Her family would love to welcome and visit with all of her friends on 25, 2016 from J.. - 3 PM and the Celebration of her wonderful life starting at 3 PM at Emerald Coast , 161 Racetrack Rd NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547. No graveside services will be held as she requested that she be cremated and her ashes will be scattered in a private family gathering at a later date.
