Obituary: Jack J. Jaynes, age 86, of Bonita Springs, FL, formerly of Canton, OH went home to be with the Lord , 30, 2014. He was born 5, 1927 in Newcomerstown, OH to the late Willard and Grace (McKee) Jaynes. Jack was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and worked for the Ford Motor for 35 ½ years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Reedurban United Presbyterian Chruch, Canton, OH where he served as a deacon and an elder, and First Presbyterian Church, Bonita Springs, where he was involved in healing ministry. Jack was a 32nd degree Mason with Canton Lodge, F & AM, Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Luella in 1996; granddaughter, Kristine Renee Riser in 2007; brothers, Larry Lee, Russ, Dick, and Joe; sisters, Laura, Mickey, Dorothy, Anne, and Nel. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon (William) Galderise of North Canton; granddaughter, Kim (Mike) White, of Akron, OH; great grandchildren, Jake White and Abby White. Special thanks to loyal friend and companion, Gloria Bachman, and JoAnne Hospice House, Bonita Springs, FL. A private interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park, Canton, Ohio. Obituary: HELEN G. JAYNES, 94, died 8, 2010, at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, Florida. Helen was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, the daughter of Michelina and John Tarlowski. She resided in Indiantown, Florida and was formerly a resident of Windham, and Pelham, New Hampshire. Helen was a member and officer of the Eastern Star, and in recent years, she was a member of the Pelham Senior and a member of the Senior Council on Aging in Stuart, Florida. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda M. Fanger of Cotuit, Massachusetts, Victoria J. Mason of Palm City, Florida, and Gertrude G. Jaynes, of Windham, New Hampshire. She also leaves behind five beloved granddaughters, Rachel Newton, Jennifer Janyes, Jacqulyn Jaynes, Suzanna ODonnell, Rebecca Mason, and a great grandson, Charles Newton. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles A. Jaynes, Sr. and her son, Charles A. Obituary: Jaycox, William Dickson (Clancy), 84, of Pompano Beach, passed away 23, 2016. Bill was born 13, 1932 in Chicago to the late Dickson and Mary (Miller) Jaycox . He served his country honorably during the Korean Conflict and was discharged as a Corporal. Upon his discharge, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. Bill may have been best known as the other half of Santa & Mrs. Claus, where he and his late wife rode atop the fire engine in the Pompano Beach Yuletide Parade. He was also known as Clancy - The Irish Troubadour, singing Irish songs at concerts during the week of St. Patricks Day. In 2004, Bill composed the song, Floridas Pompano Beach and it was proclaimed the official song of the City of Pompano Beach. He and his wife, touched the hearts of many children across Southern Florida, he gave them hope and promise for a better future. Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joanne on May 29, 2014 and grandson, Officer David Aaron Haynes, sibling, Mary Catherine McCarthy, Richard Jaycox, Anna Mae Cole and Thomas Jaycox. He is survived by his daughter, Janet Evans and grandson, Hardin Thomas Haynes, great grandsons, James and Thomas Haynes and brother, Joseph Jaycox. A Celebration of Life Service will be held , 17, 2016, 10:00am at Forest Lawn North, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach where he will be interred with his wife. |

Obituary: THEODORE AMOS JAYCOX was taken home by the Angels on , 26 2016. Loving Husband, Father and Friend, he will be missed by many of us. His journey began on 22, 1927. He was raised in Effingham, Illinois by Ted and Manette Jaycox who were waiting for his arrival! He joined the Navy in 1945 and . served his country. He was a graduate of the University of Florida where he was Captain of the Fighting Gators Basketball Team in 1951. Though he thought he would be a coach and teacher, his father had started a construction firm in Ocala and that became his life's work. He met Carroll Danine Kramer in 1952 and they were married for 64 years. Ted built many of Ocala's premier horse farms, developed residential neighborhoods and built scores of commercial buildings throughout Marion . Ted was an avid outdoorsman and all around athlete, but his passion was fishing. He could out fish anyone! Just ask his friends. From single handedly landing a 600 pound Goliath Grouper while spear fishing in the Gulf of Mexico in 1960, fishing in the Gulf of Mexico his whole life, and for 14 years catching every salmon in Alaska in the summer, he never met a fish he couldn't catch! 40 years in Ocala, Ted and Carroll moved to Highlands, North Carolina. For 15 years they designed engineered and built many beautiful homes in the mountains, and were known for the quality and unique design of each home they built. But Florida is home so they moved to Crystal River. Ted loved fishing, RV travel between Mexico and Alaska, fishing, Gator sports, fishing, gardening, fishing and reading. He retired to Port Orange, then moved to New Smyrna Beach in 2012. He continued to fish in the Indian River Lagoon and terrorized all the redfish. Ted and Carroll went on a 3 month mission trip to Africa where Ted built a wing on a hospital in the Black land of Umtata during Apartheid. Ted was always active in the Episcopal Church, wherever he lived. Ted was Senior Warden, Junior Warden, reader, usher. He volunteered at the food bank,and tutored at the Great Kids afterschool program. Ted spent his 89th, and last, birthday with his son, Ted, fishing the Gulf off of Louisiana, catching giant redfish, again. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert. He is survived by his wife, Carroll, three children, Gina Holt (Tom) of Edgewater, Florida, Ted Jaycox (Shoni) of Ocala, Florida, and Kelly Klein (Robert) of Islamorada, Florida; three grandchildren, Tiffany, Tara and Chase; and three great grandchildren, Dawson, Conner and Gabriella. The family requests that memorials be made to Halifax Hospice in Edgewater, St. Peter the Fisherman Church in New Smyrna Beach, or your favorite charity. Obituary: Joanne E. Jaycox, 79, of Pompano Beach, Fl. died , May 28, 2014 at Deerfield Beach and Rehabilitation . She was born 18, 1934 in Hartford, CT, the daughter of the late Alexander J. and Mae (Stroupe) Morris. Joanne graduated from Hartford High School in 1952 and began working as office manager for her father, owner of the Hudson Street Garage. She devoted her skills as secretary to the Independent Garage Owners of Connecticut and worked tirelessly to help establish the organization. In 1967, Joanne moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., where she was employed at Midas Muffler as office manager, retiring after 30 years of service in 1997. Joanne had portrayed Mrs. Santa Claus for Midas Muffler Christmas parties for several years before meeting William Jaycox. Bill was trained as a professional Santa Claus and appeared as Jordan Marshs Santa for many years. then began volunteering as Mr. and Mrs. Claus together and were married in 1978. Joanne was a member of Quota International of Ft. Lauderdale for over 40 years. She assisted many organizations through Quota service projects, including Hearing Dogs of Florida, Boys and Girls Club Stephanis Unit, Gold Coast Hospice, Providence Place, Angelica House, Americas Moms for Soldiers and Volunteer Broward. Quota began the first Signing Santa Christmas Party for deaf children in Broward and Joanne was at Signing Santas side from day one until a few years ago. She served as chair of the clubs overall Service Committee for many years. In 1992, Quota began a scholarship program for the deaf which Joanne chaired until just last year. She was responsible for contacting schools, reviewing and approving applications, and contacting the students. Some $73,000 in scholarship awards passed through Joannes hands to 46 students who were touched through her dedication. She chose to stay in contact with many of them. Christmas Day was never spent at home with family and friends. Mr. And Mrs. Santa Claus delivered gifts and food to migrant farm families, disabled children and the homeless. received and answered all letters to Santa from the Ft. Lauderdale US post office until the volume became too great. The couple was awarded the George Washington Honor Medal from the Freedoms Foundations at Valley Forge in 1999 for their community spirit and generosity. taking music lessons in high school, Joanne dreamed of owning a Hammond organ and purchased her own soon after graduation. When she moved from Hartford to Ft. Lauderdale, the organ moved with her , continuing to provide musical accompaniment to sing-a-longs for many years at gatherings of family and friends. She was a gracious hostess, a compassionate friend, a thoughtful and loving person. She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Morris, her brother-in-law Richard Juergens and her grandson, David Haynes. She is survived by her husband, Willliam D.
