Obituary: Terry Jalbert, 62, of Cape Canaveral, FL was called home on 23, 2017. She was a beloved and adored wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, grandmother, and friend. Terry was born to Mary and Edwin in Washington, DC on 5, 1954. Terry grew up in Maryland where she spent her early years living with her beloved Aunt Chickie and Uncle Don Jennings and cousins “brothers” Chris, Jack, Mark and Scott. In Terry’s preteen years her Mother Mary married John Middlebrooks Jr and they had three children together Kelli, Karen and John. The family lived in Prince Georges , Maryland. Terry and Dan met in Maryland and began their love story in 1970. Although they married in 1972, they had known each other since they were children. Terry and Dan welcomed their first son Joel in 1973 and second son Andrew in 1975. During that time the family moved to Winter Park, Florida where they resided until 2015 moving to Cape Canaveral where they enjoyed the fruits of retirement, the community and fellowship of Our Saviors Catholic Church, companionship on the beach and the love of their Bichon Fannie Mae. Terry’s passion for God and centering prayer was very impactful on her life and provided the foundation for her journey to Heaven. Terry enjoyed traveling with her family and delighted in her children and grandchildren’s lives and accomplishments. Terry was truly one of a kind. She had a sweet, kind spirit that was evident to anyone she interacted with throughout her lifetime. Terry only spoke of what was good, wholesome, and true and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She was generous, giving in both her time and possessions, and genuinely cared for people providing a loving presence in the lives of all who touched her. Terry loved making a home at the beach and spending quiet time with Dan, cooking, playing games, traveling, talking and making memories. Professionally, Terry was went to school to be a court reporter but instead started with working for the US Court of Appeals in Washington DC. On moving to Florida, Terry was in association management, a challenging career that provided her and Dan with travel and events and many friends and fun memories. She entered community real estate and was a successful realtor for many years. She only recently retired after helping many families and working many weekends. In everything she did she was capable and ambitious, balancing kindness and her ethical spirit in all she did. Terry’s personality and genuine nature made her good at what she did, and she enjoyed the work. Terry was constantly working to improve herself, reading books about personal growth and attending courses she saw fit to achieve her goals. Terry made and kept friends at every stop along her journey. Terry had a silent strength that could be seen in times of struggles. She did not turn from challenges, she accepted them as they came and worked through them. Perhaps above all, Terry was a faithful believer and follower of Jesus Christ. Her faith was her anchor, along with her family and friends, throughout her lifetime. Terry had a spiritual connection with her Lord that allowed her to share her faith with others unashamedly. Most importantly, Terry lived her faith. If you knew Terry, you knew her love for her Lord and Savior. She was holy, but humble. Terry will be sorely missed, but never forgotten, by the many people she impacted, and the lives she touched through her love. She leaves behind her tremendous legacy of kindness, sweetness, love, humility, generosity, and faithfulness. Terry was preceded in passing by her father, Edwin Scott; her stepfather, John Middlebrooks; her brother, John Middlebrooks III; and her beloved aunt, Eleanor “Chickie” Jennings. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Daniel Jalbert; her cherished sons, Joel Edward Jalbert (wife Wendy), Andrew Kyle Jalbert (and his wife Dena), and Carl Spring; her mother, Mary Middlebrooks; her sisters, Kelli Ann Sessions and Karen Rebecca Middlebrooks; her adored grandchildren, Breana Katelyn, Olivia MaryLee, and Whitney Danielle Jalbert; her cousins, Mark, Chris, Jack, and Scott Jennings; as well as a host of other family and close, lifelong friends. Celebration Gathering will be held on , 3 from 5-8pm at Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte with a Celebration service beginning at 6:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial to follow on , 4 at 9:30am at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Winter Park. Obituary: JALBERT, Joseph Gedeon, age 93, of Plant City, FL, born in Eagle Lake, ME on 21, 1922, passed away on 15, 2016 with his family by his side. Joseph was a masonry contractor, City Inspector for Plant City for over 25 years, and attended Eastside Baptist Church. He served as a Medical Tech in the US Air Force during WWII. His family was his pride and joy and he will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, William J. and Victoria (Saucier) Jalbert; wife, Hazel Jalbert; and two brothers, Eddie and Alberie Jalbert. Joseph is survived by four daughters, Shirley Durrance (Larry), Diane Swindle (Buddy), Darlene Jalbert (Grant), Karen Brewer (Rodney); wife LaVerne and her son, Oran (Kathy); two brothers, Gilman Jalbert, Raynold Jalbert (Priscilla); three sisters, Lauria Morneault, Velma Pelletier, Carole Martin (Don); nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. The family would like to give special thanks to the Aqua Team at Hospice. Donations may be made in his memory to Hospice or Madison's Mission (https://www.facebook.com/HelpMadisonsMission/?fref=ts).
