Obituary: Mary Jean Jakubowski 82 years old of Orlando Passed away 17 due to complications from surgery. She was predeceased in death by her husband Joseph Marion Jakubowski in 1990 and her son, John Joseph Jakubowski in 1992. Jean was a nurse and served as a Captain in the United States Air Force where she met and married her only husband, Jake. She worked for 25 years at Florida Hospital where she retired as emergency room head nurse in Apopka. Jean was born in New Hampshire but moved to Winter Park in the 1940s. She graduated from Orange Memorial Hospital School of . Jean had a huge love for animals and always had pets fill her home with love. Jean is survived by her daughter, H. Leanne Jakubowski of Orlando and her brother John "Jack" Farrington of Altamonte Springs. Obituary: JAKUBISIN, PAUL Paul E. Jakubisin, age 82, died 1, 2011. Born in Wadsworth, OH on May 3, 1928 he spent his childhood in Warren, OH, completed his military service and graduated from John Carroll University in 1953. With his family he moved to Orlando in 1958 to continue working in the aerospace industry as a Configuration Management Engineer, retiring after 33 years. He honored God by serving in various ministries in Good Shepherd Catholic Church and as a scout master for the Boy Scouts of America, along with playing an active role in Habitat for Humanity construction. He is survived by Patricia, his loving wife of 57 years, 5 children and their spouses, Michael (Linda), Timothy (Mary Ellen), Stephen (Tricia), Thomas (Jamee) and Mary Lou Fess (Rick), 19 grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters, a brother Joseph, sister Mary Ann, and cherished in-laws, nieces and nephews. mass will be held , 7, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Cathedral. Obituary: Helen Ann Babeji Jakubetz, 71, of Merritt Island, Florida, formerly of Lawrence, died unexpectedly , 14, 2014 in Melbourne, Florida. Helen was born in Canonsburg 23, 1942, a daughter of the late John and Mary Levkulich Babeji. She graduated from Canon McMillans first graduating class of 1960. graduation, she worked as a secretary at Canon McMillan for 3 years. She then worked for the Central Intelligence Agency, and Presearch Research in Silver Springs, Maryland. She was a loving mother and housekeeper and prior to retirement, she was Area Supervisor for Meals on Wheels in Brevard , Florida. She was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Merritt Island. On May 4, 1963, she married her husband of 51 years, Frank M. Jakubetz, Jr. who survives. Also surviving are one son, Frank M. (Carol) Jakubetz, III of Melbourne, Florida; two grandchildren, Skylar and Josh; four brothers, George Bubs Babeji, Charles (Cynthia) Babeji and Michael (Betty Ann) Babeji, all of Lawrence and John (Cathy) Babeji of Washington; one sister, Mitzi (David) Sollon of Canonsburg; her mother-in-law, Mary Ann Vernon of Merritt Island, Florida; two aunts, Ann Behling and Lillian Janousek and one uncle, Steve Levkulich; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Deceased is one sister-in-law, Linda Hartman Babeji. Services were in Wylie-Baxley , Merritt Island, Florida and a memorial service will be held in Canonsburg on a date to be announced, followed by burial in the National of The Alleghenies.
