Obituary: Dick passed away peacefully on , 25, 2012 in Seattle at the age of 85. He was born on 8, 1926, in Chilliwack, British Columbia, the son of Clarence and Nellie Jackman. Dick graduated from Lincoln High School in Seattle. He then served in the Navy as a Pharmacist's Mate/Corpsman at Balboa Hospital in San Diego, caring for wounded seamen near the close of WWII. his service he attended the University of Washington and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy in 1950. In 1950 he also married the love of his life, Colleen, on St. Patrick's Day. He began work at Craigen Pharmacy in Seattle then partnered with Dave Richardson to open North Roosevelt Pharmacy in the Maple Leaf area. He became sole owner in 1973 and continued to run North Roosevelt (now Maple Leaf Pharmacy) until 1990. He is remembered as an earnest health care provider, beloved by his customers and employees. He often would get up in the middle of the night to deliver needed medications in an emergency. He was a Clinical Affiliate Faculty member of the University of Washington and an active member of the Washington State Pharmacy Association. Dick was involved with the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 173, in View Ridge in the 1960's, where three of his sons attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He was also an enthusiastic supporter of the University of Washington Rowing program, in which four of his children participated while attending the UW. Throughout the years he loved building and maintaining summer homes at Warm Beach, Camano Island, and Lake Cavanaugh. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Colleen, his children Robert (Janice), Richard (Sherrie), Ronald (Linda), Jeanelle Lund, William Jr. (Aimee), and grandchildren Will and Emma Lund, Gwyneth, James and Austin Jackman. Dick is also survived by brother, Don (Margrette), and sister, Gwen Buchan (Alan). Dick was a compassionate friend to all who knew him, a hard-working, deeply principled pharmacist and a devoted husband and father who will be sorely missed and happily remembered. |

Obituary: Marjory Velma was born on 5th, 1912 in Brock Saskatchewan, Canada to James Lemuel and Eliza Ann (Metcalf) McCosh. Her parents were immigrants from Lisnacrogher, Glenravel, Antrim, Ireland and married on 28th, 1908 in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. Marjory, later, relocated to the United States, where she completed her high school education and started working as a bookkeeper for a window manufacturing warehouse. She later worked with her husband at the family owned automotive repair shop handling the books. Later, after the birth of her daughter, Marjory stayed at home to attend to household. Her family was everything to her. She enjoyed many hobbies including solitaire, bingo, and attending social functions. more than 30 years, Marjory joined the love of her life, bestfriend, and husband on 6th, 2014 in Redmond, Washington, at the age of 101. She leaves behind her loving daughter, many friends, and extended family. Per her request, no services will be held. The family wishes to express a very special thank you to the staff at Redmond & Rehabilitation for their loving care, support, and compassion. A beautiful woman, Marjory, will live with us in memory and will for evermore. Obituary: Donald Frank Jackman passed away 16, 2011 in Marysville, Wa. He was born on 6, 1934 in Seattle, Wa. To John (Pete) & Hazel Jackman. Donald was the eleventh of thirteen children. He graduated from Lake Washington High School, Kirkland, Wa. Class of 1954. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and Iron Shipbuilders Local 104. He worked for many years at Todd Ship Yards. Don married Emma Wald, on 26, 1969 in Bismarck, North Dakota. lived in Renton, Wa. their entire married life. travelled frequently to North Dakota to be with family and friends. were members of North Dakota Dance Club, Pinochle Club & The Eagles. made several fun trips and attended many concerts. loved their family, friends & being active. Don was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Emma, brothers Rex, Ross, Ray, Russell, Ralph, Jack & sisters Ruby Barnhart and Reta Goss. Don is survived by his brothers, Robert and Walter (Jerry), sisters Ruth Moore, and Violet Rielly, niece Patricia (Forcier) Hawkins, brother in law and sister in law Larry and Christine Freidig and numerous nieces, nephews and family members. We will miss you Don. Mass will be held 11:30 25 at St. Anthony Catholic Parish, 314 4th St. Renton, Wa. Entombment Sunset Hills Memorial Park, Bellevue, Wa.
