Obituary: Donna Ann Johnson, 70, of Falmouth passed away peacefully on , 23, 2015, at VCU Medical . Donna was born on 5, 1944, in New Hampshire to the late William and Hazel Robbins. Following graduation from Concord High School, class of 1962, Donna began working for C&P Telephone Co. She transferred with the telephone company to Virginia in 1967 and worked there until 1985, when she chose to stay home with her children. She returned to the workforce years later and retired as the town clerk for the town of Dumfries in 2010. Following her retirement, Donna turned a hobby into a business and began selling country and primitive furniture and décor at Caroline Square and the House of Milk and Honey in downtown Fredericksburg. Donna had a zest for life, a kind heart and an infectious smile, and she made friends wherever she went. She cherished her many friendships, new and old, but her greatest love was for her family, especially her grandsons. Donna is survived by her husband of 46 years, Earl Johnson; her two children, Corey Johnson and his wife, Deena, of Falmouth and daughter Kelley Brown and her husband, Bobby, of Spotsylvania ; and three grandchildren, J.D. Roberts, Coby Johnson and Colton Brown. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, many friends that she considered family and her beloved dogs. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. , 28, at Mullins and Thompson Service, Stafford Chapel. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. , 29, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Stafford Memorial . |

Obituary: Dolores W. Johnson 83, of Highland Springs, went to be with the Lord on , 7, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Garnette E. Slim Johnson Jr.; son, Michael E. Johnson; and parents, Ernest C. Whitlock Jr. and Irene K. Whitlock. Dolores worked as a Senior Insurance Underwriter for Commercial Union until her retirement. Shes a former member of Third Avenue Baptist Church and was an active singer in their choir. She enjoyed participating with the Bridge Club and crocheting. Dolores was a member of the Female & Doubles Bowling League, a Sandston Jets Little League Association Board Member, in the Professional Underwriters Club, and she loved to play scrabble and assorted card games. Dolores leaves to cherish her memory her children, Virginia Johnson, Catherine Cathie Eacho, Robert Cliff Johnson, Charlotte Blackwell (Dean), William Bill Johnson (Donna), Faith Hooper (Raymond), Garnette Everette Johnson III (Lisa); forty-five plus grand and great-grandchildren; siblings Charlotte Dunnavent (Vaughan), Ernest Whitlock III (Cookie), Carolyn Salomon (Chuck), and Stewart Whitlock (Linda); along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She will forever hold a place in their hearts. A memorial service will be held in Doloress honor on , 12, 2015 at 2pm at Nelsen , 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231. |

Obituary: Dina Irene Relan Johnson, 41, lost her battle with cancer on May 23, 2014. Dina was born in Opelika, Alabama on 4, 1973 to Martha (Marty) and Craig Relan. She is survived by her husband Brian Johnson, her brothers Scott Relan (Kimberly) and Adam (Abbey), and her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Dina graduated from Chantilly High School in Chantilly, Virginia and went on to receive a degree in Accounting from James Madison University. Dina dedicated much of her career to FirstService Residential where she was a Vice President of Accounting and Business Operations. She brought much joy to those around her through her love of cooking and friendship. Dina was an animal lover surrounded by pets through most of her life, enjoyed art and taking trips with family and friends. She was an avid Parrothead and spent many a summer dancing through a good Jimmy Buffet concert. Dinas life will be celebrated on , 6th at Demaine in Springfield, VA at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, Dina requested that donations are made to Life with Cancer (www.lifewithcancer.org) in her honor. |
