Obituary: Radford Jessee of Brandon, Florida, passed away at Brookdale Assisted Living in Williamsburg, VA. He was a WWII veteran, serving in the U. S. Marine Corps in the South Pacific, and was retired from Southeast Milk, a central Florida dairy cooperative, in Plant City, FL. Along the way he served as a Virginia State Policeman in Stuart, VA, a Justice of the Peace in Martinsville, VA, filmed NASCAR races, baseball spring training games and other sporting events for a local TV station, and was Business Manager of Spring Valley Dairy in Riverview, FL. He was former deacon and long-time director of the School at First Baptist Church, Brandon. The son of the late Walter T. Jessee and Thelma Virginia McPeek Jessee, he was also preceded in death by his sisters Helen Jessee Foster and Sue Jessee Walling Foster. Survivors include Frankie Jessee, his wife of 67 years, daughter Karen Jessee and husband Juan Romero, daughter Kimberly Jessee Storms and husband Philip Storms, grandchildren Ashley and Benjamin Storms, sister Joann Chandler, and many very special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A memorial service is planned for , 29 at 4 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 216 N. Parsons Ave., Brandon, FL. The family will receive guests prior to the service from 3 - 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Honor Flight, Inc., to give other WW II veterans an opportunity to visit their memorial in Washington, D.C. (www.honorflight.org), or to the First Baptist Church, Brandon. The family is so very appreciative of the staff at Brookdale for the love and care they gave to Mr. Jessee during the final months of his life. |

Obituary: Dwayne Avis Jessee, 46, of Crozet passed away , 19, 2016 with his family by his side after an extended illness. Born 18, 1969 he was a son of the late Clifford Alan and Ann Via Jessee. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother Darrell Jessee and an infant son, Isaiah. Dwayne is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years Pamela Jessee; his sons, Kaleb, Benjamin, and Elijah Jessee; his sisters, Darlene Jones and her husband Blake and Dana Layne and her husband Davy; his supportive in-laws, Claude and Carolyn Monger; brother-in-law, Eddie Monger; and sister-in-law, Melanie Ellyson and her husband Wayne. Dwayne is also survived by numerous family and friends that will sorely miss him. Dwayne worked for W.E. Brown for many years as an electrician until his health denied him the ability to work. He was a member of Free Union Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Dwayne was a man that loved his family. He enjoyed camping, trips to the beach, and working on his jeep. A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 pm , 23, 2016 at Free Union Baptist Church with Pastor Duane Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel . The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm , 22, 2016 at Teague . In honor of Dwayne, the family asks that you consider becoming an organ donor at donatelife.net.
