Her passing occurred due to complications of a fall. She was preceded in death by her eternal companion, John Jack Johnson. We take comfort in knowing she was met with his warm embrace after a 22-month separation. She spent an idyllic childhood on a farm in Magna, Utah, where her parents instilled in her the importance of hard work and education. She would recount memories of her childhood so vibrantly we felt as if we were gathering eggs, riding horses, and organizing spring barn dances right along with her. Dorothy excelled in school, both academically and socially. Her favorite subjects were psychology, history, and anything to do with music! She was blessed with a beautiful singing voice, enjoyed performing with the Cyprus High School A Cappella Choir, and continued singing in duets and trios throughout her life.
