Obituary: Evalyn Ruth ("Pat") Kruger Jurgens passed away on , May 23, 2017 in Austin, Texas. Born in Hutto, Texas, on 20, 1923, she was 93 years old. Pat graduated from Brenham High School as Salutatorian in 1941, and attended Blinn Junior on an academic scholarship. She moved to Austin, where she worked for the Merit System Council, the testing branch of the Texas Employment Commission. five years in Rockport, Texas, Pat rejoined the agency in 1967 and retired in 1980 as the Executive Secretary to the Executive Director and Board Secretary. During World War II, she was a volunteer with the USO, traveling to San Marcos where she met her husband, Kenneth, who was from Chicago and training with the Army Air Corps. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church, joining First English Lutheran Church in Austin in 1950 Pat is survived by sons Kenneth C. Jurgens, Jr. and his wife, Nancy, by Dr. Christopher J. Jurgens and his wife Kathy, by granddaughter Natalie Jurgens Davis and her husband Sean, by William K. Jurgens and his wife Bess Wirht, and by Hannah C. Jurgens and close friend Wynand Duplessis. Pat is also survived by her brother, Weldon D. Kruger and his wife Patti. In addition to her husband, Pat was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters-in-law, and one granddaughter. The family offers heartfelt thanks to the staff of Brookdale-Parmer Lane, North Austin Medical , and Brookdale Hospice for their loving care of our mother. The family will receive visitors , May 29, at Cook-Walden , 6100 N. Lamar, Austin, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on , May 30, at First English Lutheran Church, 3001 Whitis Ave. Austin, 78711, followed by a graveside service at Austin Memorial. Obituary: 5, 2014, Jace Reid Jurek, aka Batman, joined our family on our wonderful adventure. He came into this world full of surprises, but was always happy and feared nothing. He loved music, giving mommy kisses, talking to his brother, talking in general, and being outdoors. If his favorite blanket was a sign of what he wanted to be, then he would of followed in his daddys footsteps and would of been a fireman. 21, 2015, Jace was lifted up with the Angels to be with our Lord in Heaven. His hurting ceased and his heart was fully healed. Jace lived a beautiful life with his parents, Justin and Lauren Jurek and Amazing big brother, Jackston. He was loved by Great grandparents, Robert and VernaLou Rosenbaum Jr., Glynn and Martha Johnson, and Warren and Alice Mercer. He was spoiled by grandparents Robert and LaVonda Rosenbaum III, Marla Jurek, Michael and Denise Jurek and by Aunts and Uncles, Brett and Haley Hafer, Ashley Hartfield, Joshua Rosenbaum, Mykka Jurek and Jody Dolejsi. Obituary: Morris William Jurecka was peacefully called by our heavenly Father on May 16th, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Hallettsville, Texas on 19th, 1944. Morris spent his childhood in Weimar, Texas and was a graduate of Weimar High School. Morris was a private and devoted servant of the Lord, husband, father, and grandfather. He was kind, gentle, and always gave freely of his time with special dedication to his family. Morris was a 25 year career veteran of Exxon Corporation before changing his career to the Cypress Fairbanks ISD Department of Transportation. Morris had two primary hobbies. He enjoyed playing drums for regional bands such as the Jurecka Orchestra, Donnie Wavra Orchestra, and the Knights of Dixie--all of which specialized in American Standards and Czech/German Folk music. He also embraced a lifetime fascination with railroading. Morris is preceded in death by his parents William and Ida (Schneider) Jurecka. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Ann; brother George; two sons: Joseph and his wife Kimberley; David and his wife Stacey; four grandchildren: Kathleen, Brian, Matthew, and Michael as well as numerous relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at the Chapel of Pat H. Foley & , 1200 W 34th St., from 5pm to 8pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm on , May 29th. A funeral Mass will be celebrated with Rev. Benjamin Smaistrla on , May 30th at 10am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Mangum Rd. Rite of Christian Burial and interment will follow at the Forest Park Westheimer .
