Obituary: Zelma Barrett Jones, 96, of Lubbock, passed away on 15, 2016. She was born on 30, 1920 a daughter to the late Steve and Lizzie Baty. Zelma was the youngest of ten children and the last living child. She married Jack Barrett in 1939 .He predeceased her in 1957. She later married J.B. Jones who also predeceased her. Zelma was a homemaker, cub scout and girl scout leader and a lover of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She rarely missed a Texas Ranger game on television. A Daughter, Ann Barrett Flowers and a favorite son-in-law, Burnis Penny preceded her in death as well. Zelma is survived by her children: Rick Barrett (Pat) of Tallahassee, FL and Mary Penny of Lubbock, TX. ; Grandchildren: Deborah Crouch (Marty) of Lubbock, Scott Penny of Lubbock, Richard Barrett (Irma) of Ocala, FL, Tammy Dunne (Darren) of Raleigh, NC, Zelma Cress (Darren) of Canton, OH, and Sophia Lopez of Terre Haute, IN. Great-Grandchildren: Leighton Crouch ( ) and Bailey DeKoning (Steve) all of Lubbock, Sarah Barrett-Sanchez (Wancarlos) of Gainesville, FL, Richie Barrett of Ocala, FL, Jordan Dunne, Jarrrod Dunne and Jeremy Dunne all of Raleigh, NC, Trey Munn and Jack Cress, both of Canton, OH., and great-great Grandchildren: Brenham, Brekton and Brixleigh Crouch all of Lubbock, Kaylee Munn, Christian Bradford, Mattox Cress and Grace Fisher. The family wishes to thank the caretakers at Heritage Oaks for their wonderful care of their mom and grandmother, especially Connie and LaKeisha. Obituary: a long and courageous battle with cancer, Yvonne Kay Kelly Jones, passed away, 14, 2006, at the age of 67. She was born on 17, 1939. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Kelly, and husband, Arthur A.B. Jones. Kay is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly Parrish, and Kerri Miller; grandchildren, Lauren Parrish, Colton Cappetta, and Karis Miller.
