"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Fathers house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you." John 14:1-2 Mary Nell Johnson, a lifetime educator whose influence spanned three generations of students, passed from this earthly life on , 31, 2010, at the age of 91. When her daughter wanted to learn to drive she cranked up an old model T- Ford and gave her lessons on a back road in Italy Texas. However, it was her handicapped son Jess who drove Mrs. Mary Catherine everywhere and lived with her for the past 48 years sharing. She and son Bill spent early morning coffee talking about plants, the weather and just things. Daughter, MaryJean would say lets go and Mary was ready to travel or visit her family or off to cemeteries in Arkansas to do family history or just to visit family and friends.
