Obituary: Bernice K. Jensen, age 80, of San Antonio passed away , 11, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Jensen, her parents, Thomas and Mary Kruciak and her brother, Edwin Kruciak. She is survived by her children, Debra Weber and husband, Chuck, Terri Armstrong and husband, Keith, Michael Jensen and wife, Jane; grandchildren, Jason Pyka, Pamela and Alex Moseley, Brandon Armstrong, Courtney and Allie Jensen; great grandchildren, Monica, Isaiah and Darian Moseley; sisters, Stella Kadura and Leatrice Gottardy; brothers, Emil Kruciak and Thomas Kruciak; numerous nieces and nephews. Obituary: On , May 18, 2015, God called upon Della Mae Jenschke and the angels ascended from Heaven and lifted her up to Heaven where she was greeted by her long missed family and friends - no more pain, sorrow or suffering. She will have eternal life and happiness. She was born 9, 1920 in Kerrville, Texas to Gus and Katie Wehmeyer. She married Lawrence John Jenschke on 17, 1936. She loved to sew, garden and bake, especially in her early years with her favorite Aunt Annie. She loved all her grandchildren - she sewed a lot of their clothes and baked many birthday cakes. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She has earned her space in Heaven and will be dearly missed. Della is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence John Jenschke; her parents, Gus and Katie Wehmeyer and her son, Larry James Jenschke. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Baker and Janelle Craighead (Don); grandchildren, Brenda Newell (Dennis), Jeff Baker, Rhonda Bodnar (Al), Gretchen Tullier (Todd), Julie Craighead, Jill Anthony (Shane) and Jenny Rawlinson (Lindsay); great-grandchildren, Cody and Clay Anthony, Lexi and Laney Anson, Lyle and Larson Rawlinson and Nicholas Newell. Special thanks are to be made to Seasons Hospice and all the staff at Stone Oak for all their loving and excellent care. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on , May 23, 2015 at Porter Loring North. SERVICE SATURDAY, MAY 23, 2015 1:00 P.M. She graduated from Johnson City High School in 1970 and was the Senior Class Favorite Female. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 45 years Benno Jenschke, Jr., daughter Jennifer Watson and husband Duane of Spring, parents Porter and th Watson of Hye, sister Linda Sewell and husband Bobby of Stonewall, brother Patrick Watson and wife Margie of Hye, sister-in-law Florence Betts and husband Lester of Stonewall, sister-in-law Rosemary Grayson and husband Tom of Austin, brother-in-law Daniel Jenschke and wife Laurie of Fredericksburg, brother-in-law David Jenschke of Stonewall, and beloved nieces, nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her in-laws Benno Jenschke, Sr. and wife , brother-in-law Joey Jenschke, and three precious grandchildren Emily, Hope, and Annabeth. Bonnie was a dearly loved wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. She was known for her infectious smile, resonant laugh, quick wit, playful nature and practical jokes, big hugs, and generous spirit to anyone in need. Most of all she knew and loved her Lord. She served as the Assistant to the Superintendent at the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park in Johnson City for 40 years. When not at work, she enjoyed treasure hunting at garage sales and thrift stores, cooking home-style meals, baking banana bread, and spending time with family. Visitation will be , 18 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Crofts-Crow in Johnson City. A Memorial Service will be held on , 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Community Church of the Hills in Johnson City with burial to follow at Rocky Community Church .
