Obituary: Judy Lynn Janac, 63, passed away early morning, 22, 2015 at her home in Snook, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. , 26th at Memorial Chapel, 2901 Texas Avenue South, Station, Texas with Reverend Joseph Polasek officiating. Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. , 25th at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oakland in Navasota. Judy was born 23, 1951 in Bryan, Texas to Violet Geneva Head and James Walter Yeager. She grew up on a dairy and attended school in Iola, Texas. As a girl she came to faith in the Lord and was baptized in the Enon Baptist Church where she was a member. She continued to worship at Covenant Family Church in Station. Judy grew into a beautiful, determined woman and eventually met and married Joe Janac in 1996 in Bryan. In 1997 they built their home in Snook, Texas, across the pasture from her mother-in-law. This home was a place she made comforting and inviting for all. She took great pride in keeping a neat home and yard, which was recognized several times as Yard of the Month. Judy loved working in her yard, growing flowers, crafting, doting on her beloved pets and collecting dolls. What a blessing Judy was to her family and friends! She was known for preparing meals, giving care and sharing laughs while tending to her mother-in-law and many other family or friend who could be blessed by her encouragement and wit. Judy always took great pleasure in sharing with her family, friends, nieces and nephews throughout the year, especially at Christmas, when she took the time to pick the perfect gift for each one. Her love for her home and family was seen by all as she had a ready laugh and ready hands to help. She frequently opened her heart and home to those who were in need. Although small in stature, Judy was able to captivate everyone and was a force to be reckoned with. Once she set her mind to something, stand back and watch her work (or get to work)! Some may describe Judy as a stick of dynamite, small yet powerful! She was a strong resilient woman who had a deep love for her family and friends. Those who were loved by Judy were fortunate to share in her life and legacy. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Danny Yeager; and one sister, Carolyn Watson. She is survived by her husband Joe R. Janac of Snook; one brother, Johnny Yeager and wife Ann of Bryan; one sister, Myra Cates and husband Jerry of Bryan. Judy is also survived by brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws; Robert Mayfield, Bobby and Barbara Lebow, Jimmy and Shelley Janac, David and Leslie Janac, Randy and Mary Landreth; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, 502 West 26th Street, Bryan, TX 77803 or to the Brazos Club, 837 North Harvey Mitchell Parkway, Bryan, TX 77807. |
