Obituary: Kate Kerry Mary Murphy Jamail 4, 1926- May 4, 2015 I have fought the good fight to the end; I have run the race to the finish; I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy Chapter 4 Kerry Jamail was born and raised in Tralee, Kerry, Ireland to John and Mary Murphy, Kerry grew up in a large, loving family with fourteen brothers and sisters; Elsie, Cornelius, Judy, Mary, John, Joan, Jerry, Peter, Timmy, Tommy, Matty, and twin sisters, Biddy and Betty. Kerry loved talking about being Irish and delighted in telling stories about her brothers and sisters. If you knew Kerry, you had to love her Irish brogue and her life with the common as the spuds Murphy family. Within minutes of meeting someone, Kerry would say Can you guess where Im from? Kerry came to Houston in the late 1950s and worked in a doctors office at St. Josephs Hospital. She met Louis Jamail at choir practice at Sacred Heart Cathedral. were married at Sacred Heart on 17th, 1959. Kerry was most proud of her three children, John, Judy, and Jeff. Her life revolved around her family and St. Jeromes Catholic Church. Kerry was devoted to her husband, her children and the Catholic faith. Kerry spent many hours at St. Jeromes; she loved to volunteer at St. Vincent De Paul and lived for the Senior Lunches with Bingo on s. For many years, Kerry volunteered at Hollibrook and Buffalo Creek Elementary where she read to primary grade students. Kerry enjoyed walking through her neighborhood and visiting her friends. She lived her life giving to others and never put herself first. Kerry was a regular at 5;30 mass for over 40 years and attended daily mass regularly. Kerry is survived by her loving family, her children and their spouses, John and his wife Deanna and their children, Bruce and Eric; Judy and her husband Jim, and their children, James, Louis and Thomas, and Jeff and his wife Stacey, their children, Meredith and Mickey and his wife Reagan,. She is also survived by her beloved sister Betty in Ireland, and brother Peter in London. Her brother in-law, Robert Jamail and sister-in-law, Agnes Greak survive her as well. Kerry Jamail was a uniquely special lady who will be remembered. She always ended a conversation with the blessing May the Angels fold their wings around you. Obituary: Eddie passed away May 17, 2016. He was proceeded in death by his loving grandparents. He is survived by his parents, Tommy and Glenda Jamail, his sister and brother-in law, Colleen and Clay Elkins, and his niece Maddie Elkins as well as many other family and friends. His presence will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers we would like you to consider this. Eddie had a love for many things as well as a hate for one in particular. He lost many loved ones to cancer including his beloved grandparents and stated his hatred of cancer often. Give to cancer research. He had a lifelong passion for music. Find a music program in need and give. He had a love of sports but growing up it was baseball. His recent great pride was his niece Maddie and her playing softball and in, of all things, his position left field. Last she caught her first high and long hit ball to left field. She couldn't wait to tell Uncle Eddie. He was beside himself about this. The softball fields at Bear Creek where she played are still under water and will need help refurbishing when they can. The Parish school for children with speech and language delays is where Maddie has gone for the last 4 years and his pride in her achievements there were quite high. He talked about how wonderful the school is and how grateful for what they have done for her. are a private non-profit school. Consider giving there. Lastly Eddie had a deep love for dogs and really animals in general. Consider giving to an animal rescue place. The real point here, is choose one of these dear to him or anything dear to your heart. This is what he would want. Giving in his name and memory just to help. |

Mass in under the direction of Buffington in Shiner, Texas and will be held at 10:00 am on , 21, 2014 at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner, Texas with Father Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Interment will follow at the Shiner Catholic in Shiner, Texas. A Rosary will be recited on , 20, 2014 at 6:00 pm at Buffington Chapel in Shiner, Texas with Deacon Joe Machacek officiating. Jake was born on May 21, 1935 in Shiner, Texas. He was the son of Alphonse and Viola (Miculka) Jalufka. Anthony Alphonse Jalufka was a member of the United States Army Reserve having attained the rank of Staff Seargent. He was Honorably Discharged on 31, 1964. Jake married Bernice (Boedeker) Kloesel on 14, 1965 at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner, Texas. When he could get away from his work, Jake liked to go fishing and deer hunting. Jake owned and operated Jalufka Concrete Works from 1953 until his retirement in 1996. Jake liked to bowl, and he was a member of two bowling teams; the Williford Drug mens team and the Jalufka Concrete mixed doubles team. He played the accordion for family and friends, and he liked playing dominoes. He was a member of Hermann Sons, 621st Mess Kit Repair, and Knights of Columbus, as well as a past member of Shiner Businessmens club. He is survived by his loving wife of forty-eight years; Bernice Jalufka, one son; Mark Jalufka and his wife, Tracey of Shiner, Texas, three daughters; Jane Baxmann and her husband, Mark of Sugarland, Texas, Doris Rohan and her husband, Donald of Victoria, Texas, Jennifer Patek and her husband, Stephen of Shiner, Texas, one brother; Dennis Jalufka and his wife, Kathy of Pearland, Texas, one sister; Barbara Janak of Houston, Texas. thirteen grandchildren; Kevin Molnoskey, Brian Molnoskey and his wife, Melissa, Michelle Baxmann, Matthew Baxmann and his wife, Stephanie, Bradley Rohan, Sara Rohan, Jake Jalufka, Madison Jalufka, Cole Jalufka, Jamie Jalufka, Claire Patek, Katie Patek, Anthony Patek, five great-grandchildren; Mackenzie Baxmann, Christian Guerrero, Brady Braxmann, Bailey Molnoskey, Bennett Molnoskey, and numerous nieces and nephews.
