Obituary: Werner Jurgensen, 86, of the Holiday City Heights section of Berkeley Twp passed away on Dec. 20, 2015 at his home. Born in Utersum/Fohr, Germany, he came to the United States in 1951 and lived in Bayonne NJ for many years before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 1995. He and his wife Mary spent many winters in Davenport, FL. were also co- owners of the Globe Delicatessen in Bayonne for over 30 years until retiring in 1985. Werner was a veteran of the US Army. Werner was predeceased by his parents and four siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Mary Dethlefsen Jurgensen; two sons, John and his wife Diane Jurgensen of Barnegat and Bill and his wife Aida Jurgensen of Bayonne; a daughter Janet and her husband Joseph Kalinowski III of Mercerville, NJ.; and is also survived by 12 grandchildren, John Jr.and his wife Kelly Jurgensen, Billy Jurgensen, Jr. and his wife Patricia, Erik Jurgensen, Chad Jurgensen and his fiancé Kerry, Matthew Jurgensen and his wife Hillary, Liana Jurgensen and her boyfriend Tristan, Johanna Koehler and her husband Bradley, Juliana Cieszynski and her husband Brad, Christian Jurgensen, and Jenna Kalinowski and her boyfriend Michael, Elizabeth and Vincent Miranda; and 9 great-grandchildren, Liam, Hallee, Olivia, Connor, Tyler, Jaye, Brooke, Noah and Lindsay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on 22, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Quinn-Hopping 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A funeral service will be celebrated at 7:00 PM. Burial will take place on 23, 2015 at 11:15 AM at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. Obituary: Frank J. Juranic, Sr., 88, of Hamilton, passed away on , 2, 2014, at his home. Born at home in Hamilton, Mr. Juranic was a lifelong Hamilton resident. He served in the United States Navy in both World War II and Korea. He was stationed in the Philippines and proudly served on the U.S.S. Midway. As a veteran he was a member of the V.F.W Post 458 and was a founding member of the Whitehead Veterans Club. his time in the military he worked as a millwright for General Motors for 45 years, retiring in 1991. A very handy and creative man Mr. Juranic could build anything, including two homes, and he could fix anything. He also enjoyed working in his yard. He was very proud of and attentive to his vegetable and floral gardens. Mr. Juranic was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Josephine; his beloved son, Lance Corporal Frank J. Juranic, Jr., USMC, who was killed in action during Vietnam in 1968; and by his five brothers and one sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Marion (Shipp) Juranic; his daughter, Lorie Hurley and her husband, Dale; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and several nieces and nephews including his niece and Goddaughter, Yvonne Johnston A private funeral service was held and Mr. Juranic was laid to rest with military honors at the Saint Marys in Hamilton. were under the direction of the Saul Colonial , 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, New Jersey. |

Obituary: Rita Jupiter, of Manchester, passed away peacefully at home on , 29th. Born in Brooklyn, Rita lived most of her life in Lakewood. It was there that she and her husband, Melvin, raised their family. She worked as a secretary for her husband's business, Lakewood Aluminum . At retirement, they moved to Port Charlotte, FL, where they spent ten enjoyable years. later returned to the area to be closer to their family. Rita enjoyed traveling, cooking, and Atlantic City but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Jerome and Helen Eisenstark and Stephanie Csinciscis, her beloved son Brian, and her brother David. Obituary: Melvin Jupiter of Manchester, passed away peacefully on 9, 2017. Born in New York City. Mel lived most of his life in Lakewood. It was here that he and his wife Rita raised their family. He was owner of Lakewood Aluminum for 25 years. At retirement he and Rita moved to Port Charlotte Florida, where they spent 10 enjoyable years, later returning to the area to be closer to family. Being with his family was always his greatest joy and he takes with him all the love they had for him. Mel enjoyed all sports but especially had a fondness for golf and basketball and always kept up on the current Golf and NBA seasons. While attending Lakewood High School he was a member of the 1944-45 Basketball NJ state runner up team. He served in the army and was assigned to Philippines at the end of WWII. He is predeceased by his parents Phillip and Gussie Jupiter, his beloved wife Rita, son Brian and his brother Lawrence. He is survived by his son Wayne and wife Maureen of Brick, daughter Laura Ostroff and husband Eddie of Manchester, daughter Cindy Spidaletto and husband Gregg of Jackson. And grandchildren Derek, Trevor, Megan, Brandon and Jaclyn. He is also survived by his extended family members and lifelong friends.
