Obituary: Mrs. Margie Imogene Hardy Jones, age 84, of Martin, passed away , 13, 2015 at her home. Born 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Nellie Kate Whiten Hardy. She was of the Christian faith and retired from Gwinnett School System as a bus driver. She also worked for DeKalb General Hospital as a Registered Nurse. Family members include her husband of 42 years Bobby Ralph Jones; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Ellen Wilson of Johns Creek, Ga., Tim and Sandra Wilson of Jackson Lake, Ga., Perry and Janet Wilson of Monroe, Ga., and Todd Holley of Martin; a daughter, Judy Ann Wilson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ray and Shirley Mize, John and Thelma Thompson, all of Loganville, Ga., and Steve and Jane Shabel of Snellville, Ga.; brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Julie Hardy of Snellville, Ga.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Terry Lee Wilson. services will be held at eleven oclock , 16, 2015 from the Chapel of Floral Hills Mausoleum in Tucker, Ga. Obituary: Mrs. Nancy Barbara Kirk Jones, age 79, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on , 22, 2015. Born to Frank and Juddie Kirk on 10, 1935 in Toccoa, Georgia, she was married to her dear husband Thomas Tom Arthur Jones, Sr. for 56 wonderful years. She was deeply loved by her daughter Sarah Jones Davenport and husband John; her son Thomas Tom Arthur Jones, Jr. and his wife Laura; and her son Andrew Andy Kirk Jones and his wife Twila. Andy recently went to be with the Lord, so they are rejoicing together. She was preceded in death by her brother Frank Kirk, who with his wife Faye blessed her with her dear nephew and niece, Greg Kirk and Amy Kirk Caplan. Nancy was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother to Joel Davenport, his wife Amanda and their son Wyatt; Aaron Davenport, his wife Jess and their daughter Ruth; and Marisa Davenport. She also was delighted that Andys marriage to Twila brought the families of Jennifer McFalls, Neicy Panowich and Cricket Carver into her life. graduating from Toccoa High School and Georgia Baptist School of , she and Tom married and lived for some years in Louisiana and Ohio until called by the Lord to East Africa. Altogether they served 30 years with the International Mission Board, SBC, in Kenya and Tanzania. She showed her passionate love for Africans in womens ministry and health care. Nancy was an active member of Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church in Atlanta, Ga; First Baptist Church of Duluth, Ga.; and more recently of McConnell Memorial Baptist Church in Hiawassee, Ga. Prayer and service marked her life, and she was the prayer coordinator for the Greater Gwinnett Baptist Association and the Hiawassee Baptist Association. She enjoyed being part of Baptist Fellowship of Ga., and worked as a nurse for Camp Pinnacle, Georgia Baptist Hospital, and as a congregational nurse for Peachtree Baptist Church in Atlanta. She also loved her friends, and actively participated in missionary reunions, gatherings with classmates, and church events. Her mission family knew her as Aunt Nancy, and her African friends called her Mama Tom. She was cherished for her love, her hospitality, and her laughter, and Nancy was well known for her cake decorating, bird watching, and nurture of flowers. Nancys kindness, generosity, and sacrifice were an inspiration, and she will be missed by so many! services will be held at three oclock , 25, 2015 at the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Surviving are Husband, Austin Jones of Winder, Children, Ricky and Cindy Jones of Bethlehem, Kim and Darrell Ingram of Carrollton, Judy and Jeff Roberts of Statham, and Deborah and Robert Mixon of Winder, Grandchildren, Mandi Jones, Darrell Ingram, Jr., Jake Roberts, Josh Ingram, Nicole Lake, Chris Roberts, Austin Jones and Shannen Roberts, Six Great Grandchildren also survive. Obituary: Mrs. Mary C. Jones, 81, of Sumner died , 3, 2015 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on , 6, 2015 at Pine Forest Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Hillcrest . The Rev. Roy Carroll and Rev. Jason Jones will officiate. Mrs. Jones was born on 9, 1933 in Sylvester to the late James William and Eula Braswell Calhoun. She had lived in Worth all of her life. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker who took pride in her appearance. She enjoyed watching her humming birds, working in her flowers and cooking. Mrs. Jones was active in the WMU and Womens Adult School Class at Pine Forest Baptist Church. She had formerly served as the Church Secretary for many years. Survivors include her husband, John E. Jones, Jr.; son, Jerry E. Jones (Joye); daughter, Vicki J. Hart (Monnie), all of Sumner; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by a daughter, Amelia Jones on 10, 1972 and a son, Larry E. Jones on 14, 2011.
