Obituary: Dorothy (Dot) Mason Holland, 71, of Ft. McCoy, Florida formerly of Christmas, Florida passed away on 5, 2014. Dot was born on 23, 1943 in Mascotte, Florida. She retired from Orange Sheriffs Department. Dots passion was going to yard sales, she never missed one. She loved and collected antiques and anything old. She was preceded in death by her mom and brother. She is survived by her loving husband Grady Chappell, her son Scott (Alicia) Martin, and two loving grandchildren whom she cherished Tommy and Taylor. She is also survived by her brother and sister Janice Sullivan and Jerry Godwin as well as many nieces and nephews. Dot will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Obituary: Donald Ray Holland, 87, of Pensacola, FL went to be with the Lord on , 21, 2015. He was born to the late Thurl Otto and Alma (nee Boice) Holland 6, 1927 in West Virginia. He joined the U.S. Navy at the young age of 17, serving honorably and proudly during WWII. Don graduated from Marietta and West Virginia University before beginning a life-long career with American Cyanamid. years of traveling the world, Don and his beloved wife Mary found their perfect home in Pensacola. Don donated many long hours to local charities over the years including the 4-H Club and the Mother Seton Guild. He also enjoyed spending time on the local golf courses and building ship models from his own plans. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alma White, brothers, Robert and John Holland, and his loving wife, Mary Williams Holland. He is survived by his three loving daughters, Pamela (Mark) Holland Harnett, Stephanie (Todd) Holland Douglas, and Caroline Holland; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Harnett and Katie Douglas; and two grandsons, David Harnett and Destin Douglas. Family will receive friends, on , 26, 2015 from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Hwy, Pensacola, Service will be begin at 1:00 PM and his final rest will follow at Bayview Memorial Gardens. by Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. |
