Obituary: Margaret Emily Hyche, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on 2, 2014. The fourth of four born to the late Nicanor and Perfilia Lujan, she was born in Westin, CO. As a young girl they moved to Fountain, CO. Margaret was a loving and dedicated wife to Clavin L. Hyche. were married 1, 1943. recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Family and friends were extremely important in her life and above all was her love for the Lord. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband Calvin L. Hyche; loving son Geoff (Victoria) Hyche of Colorado Springs; Precious grandchildren Erin, Jeremy, Jennifer, Brian and Whitney; great grandchildren Creed, Allegra and Adeline; as well as a host of wonderful nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Ernestine Duran, daughter Annie, and grandson Blake Hyche. Visitation for Margaret will take place evening, 5, from 6-8pm at Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Avenue. The service will take place , 6, at 11:00am, also in the Swan Law Cascade Chapel, with burial to follow at Evergreen . |

Obituary: First Sergeant (Retired) James G. Hyatte, devoted husband and father, died 9, at Memorial Hospital. He was 83 years old. James was born in Chattanooga, TN, 16, 1931. His mother Myrtle, grandparents Blevin and Lula predeceased him. He enlisted in the US Army, 17, 1948. He is a Korean War Veteran serving with the 816th Engineer Airborne Battalion from 1950 thru 1951. his initial tour of duty, James reenlisted and continued his service to the Nation for over 24 years, retiring in 1973. James and his wife Ruth met in Florida and were married, 10, 1952 and celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary this year. James was a proud, strong yet humble man. He was honest, loyal, and dedicated to the well being of his family. He did not like a lot of attention directed his way and preferred the less dramatic things that life had to offer. He always loved fishing and never missed an opportunity to go after the big ones. He shared his passion for the sport with anyone who chose to learn and enjoy chasing the next fish story. His respect, teachings and love of the sport now spans four (4) generations to a great grandson who will proudly tell you he has mastered the tactics and techniques passed down from his great grandfather . He always found great joy in spending time with his family, relaxing and enjoying the challenge of landing the biggest catch of the day. James is survived by his wife, Ruth; three sons Ronald, Donald and Bruce; daughter-in-law, Martha; granddaughter Deidre, great grandson Joshua and three nephews, Zachary, Vincent and Otis. Memorial services will be held at Memorial Gardens , 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, CO at 10:00 AM , Dec. 18, 2014. |

Obituary: Irene Hyatt (87), passed away peacefully on 1 at her residence in Westminster, CO. A resident of Colorado since 1964, Mrs. Hyatt was born on 29, 1929 to Buell Hunter and Mildred Hunter in Hartner, Kansas. She grew up in Nemaha, NE a small town in southeast Nebraska on a farm straddling the Missouri River. A sharp student and early High School graduate, Irene attended the all-women's Maryville on a music scholarship before eventually finishing her degree at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Here she met her future husband, Mr. Charles "Chuck" Hyatt, while finishing her studies and becoming a lifelong Cornhusker fan. In the early 1950's Irene and Chuck married and moved to South America, learning fluent Spanish and busing herself as a teacher. The family spent nearly a decade living in Bolivia and Colombia and considered this the adventure of her lifetime. Her endless spirit led her on many subsequent trips to glamorous locations in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Her foremost hobby was Contract Bridge, achieving the status of Life Master as one of the premier women's players in the country. Irene penned a weekly Bridge column in the Boulder Daily Camera throughout the 1960's and 1970's. An avid writer, she communicated daily with pen pals in numerous States and Japan. She is survived by her daughters Jo Hyatt of Boulder and Debbie Hyatt of Denver; and grandchildren Matthew Kohen of Denver, Brendan Caldwell of Denver, Sean Caldwell of Denver, and Charles Stuckey of Denver. She was preceded in death by her father Buell in 1997; mother Mildred in 1992; brother Ronald Hunter in 1986; husband Chuck in 1984; and son Charles "Chico" Hyatt in 1965. Services will be held at Crist Mortuary Chapel, 3395 Penrose Pl., Boulder, CO 80301 on , 9th at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park, Boulder. |
