Obituary: Margaret (Peggy) Hofman Peggy was born in Seattle on 6, 1947 to parents Stewart and Kathryn Toy and passed away in Kirkland surrounded by family after a short illness on 2, 2016. Peggy attended Edmonds schools and graduated from the University of Washington in 1972 with a degree in Business Administration. She was employed by Fluke Capital Management for thirty-one years and was its CEO. Peggy was very involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters starting at the local level and finally as the Chairman of its National Board. She also participated in the Foundation for Early Learning, American Management Association, and Washington Business Week. Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Stewart Toy in 1963. She is survived by her loving husband of thirty years, Len, mother Kay Toy, sisters Kathy Carrithers, Jeanne Lawrence, Nancy Chatagnier, and Barbara Toy. Thirteen nieces and nephews and twelve grandnieces and grandnephews will also mourn her loss. Peggy lived a rich and full life. Her wisdom, humor, giving spirit, and upbeat outlook touched many lives and will carry on through her family, friends, and those whom she touched. There were lots of vacations, foreign travel, and cruises. She loved playing bridge, beading, and entertaining with dinner parties. She was loved and will be deeply missed by family and friends. Peggy was buried at the Holyrood in Shoreline with family in attendance for the private ceremony. A celebration of life will be at Sunset Hills , 1215 145th Pl SE in Bellevue, on 27, 2016 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to your favorite charity. |

Obituary: Donald Don Hofford passed away on 25th, 2016, in Camas, Washington. He was born on May 15th, 1937, in Two Harbors, Minnesota, to his parents: Nicholas Hofford and Josephine Weigel. He attended Gresham High School, and graduated in 1955. Following graduation, Don enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served from 1955 until his honorable discharge in 1959. In of 1961, Don married the love of his life, Jane Howard, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. were married until his passing. Together, they had five children. Don worked for the United States Postal Service for many years, from which he retired in 2001. Don loved tending to his garden, which he planted every year. He also enjoyed fishing and attending mass. He will always be remembered as a man with a great sense of humor, with great faith and dedication, and a loving husband and father. Don also taught ballroom dance lessons, and he was a great teacher. Don was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jane Hofford; his children and their spouses; sons Ben and Vince Hofford; son Frank Hofford, and his wife Trina; daughter Angela Sanchez, and her husband Mark; and daughter Jessica Brar, and her husband Raviv; as well as 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was loved, and will be missed. A Viewing will be held on , 30th, 2016, from 5:00 pm to 6:45 pm, with a Recitation of the Rosary to follow. A Mass will be held on , 1st, 2016, at 2:00 pm at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, with a Committal Service immediately following at Forest Lawn in Gresham. |
