Obituary: Sallie Josephine Heard Hodgkinson Sallie Josephine Heard Hodgkinson passed away on 8, 2009. She was the beloved wife of the late Hugh Mont Hodgkinson, devoted mother of Adam, cherished daughter of Rebecca and Joe and loving sister of David. She was born in Fredericksburg, VA. 15, 1950. She graduated from Washington Hospital School of in 1972. Sallie worked in labor and delivery for 17 years during which she attended post graduate school in New York to become a mid-wife. In 1989 she moved to Park City and took a position as nurse manager of labor and delivery at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City. She retired from the hospital in 2000. Soon after moving to Park City she meet Mont. She and Mont married and had one son, Adam. We will miss her dearly. services will be held at 12 noon , 12, 2009, at the Walker Sanderson , 646 East 800 North, Orem, Utah. Family and friends may call morning from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be held at the Orem City |

Obituary: Larry Strecker HodgkinsonLarry Strecker Hodgkinson, 74, passed away on 24, 2008, surrounded by members of his family. He was born 4, 1934, in Vernal, Utah and was the eldest child of Harlend Edward and Hedwig Clara Hodgkinson. Larry graduated as valedictorian from Uintah High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from BYU. He spent two years honorably serving his country through the United States Army and was stationed in Heidelberg, Germany. Larry married Jane Odekirk, but subsequently divorced. had one daughter (Debra). He married his loving wife Dona and settled in Orem, Utah. had three children (Andrew, Lori, Steven). Larry was a true renaissance man. His interests and hobbies included his award-winning artwork, restoring antiques, jazz music, swap meets, camping, fishing, reading, fine watches, good food, Utah Jazz basketball, and BYU football. Larry was also a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He found great joy in serving faithfully in his callings, particularly as a home teacher and as a secretary of his High Priests Quorum. Above all, Larry was devoted to his family, particularly his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly. He lived a rich life, filled with selflessness and service and was an exemplary husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 46 years; his children and their spouses, Debra Jensen, Andrew (Colleen) Hodgkinson, Lori (Tom) Wilson, and Steven Hodgkinson; his grandchildren, Julia, Tyzack, Devin, Alexander, Paul, Samuel, and Hannah; and his great grandchildren, Raegen, Max, and Kenadee. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. services will be held , 29, 2008, 11:00 AM in the Sharon Park 1st Ward Chapel, 300 North 100 East, Orem, Utah. Obituary: Hugh Mont Hodgkinson, 56, died suddenly early morning Oct. 2, 2009 at his home in Park City, Utah. He was born 18, 1952 in American Fork, Utah to Varian C. and Carol Woodward Hodgkinson. He married Sallie Heard 21, 1991 in Park City, Utah and they have one son. graduating from Orem High School in 1971, he went to work for Geneva Steel. He worked there for 29 years until Geneva Steel shut down. He then went back to school at Utah Valley State , where he earned a degree in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology. He then went to work for Deer Valley Resort as a lead HVAC Technician. He was currently working there at the time of his death. He was a dedicated employee and was highly respected Mont was a devoted and loving husband, brother, father, son, uncle and all around good guy. He was a great dad to his son Adam, participating with and supporting him in many events and activities. He loved and supported Sallie in her endeavors. He truly loved being a family man. Mont had a great sense of humor, who always brought laughter to any gathering. As a boy, he was full of fun and mischief. He was noted for being a champion marble player and would carry a pillow case full of marbles around that he had won from other contestants. Mont was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is survived by his wife Sallie, son Adam, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews as well as Sallie’s family who claimed him as their own. He will be missed by all. services will be held , 7, 2009, 12:00 noon at the Walker Sanderson , 646 E 800 N, Orem.
