Obituary: Judy Lynn Hilton-Ogle, age 72, passed away on 26, 2016 after along and courageous battle with terminal cancer. She was born to William A. Hilton and Oler Hilton on 30, 1943 in Salt Lake City. She was educated in Utah schools attending Lafayette Elementary, Forest Elementary, Irving Junior High and Highland High School. She graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S.in Elementary Education and an M.S.in Elementary Education and Social Science. Part of her graduate degree was done at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California and at UCLA. While at the University, she affiliated with Phi Mu sorority, Lamda Delta Sigma and was a student advisor in the Residence Halls. She was founder and co-organizer of the Utahnas half-time dance group, now known as the Crimson Line or Utah Dance Group. She co-organized the group with Bobbi Hoge Lilya from Blackfoot, Idaho. She taught school in Reno, Nevada for two years at Jessie Beck Elementary, one year in Garden Grove, California at Brookehurst Elementary, and thirty-six years in Monterey Park, California at Monterey Highlands Elementary. She loved teaching and all of the students with whom she had the opportunity to associate with. While living in Pasadena, California, she volunteered in the Emergency Room at Huntington Memorial Hospital for over ten years and then she moved to Glendora, California. In Glendora, Judy met Wiley Frank Ogle Jr. and they were married in the Salt Lake Temple on 24, 1996. moved to Sandy, Utah in 2012. She loved sewing and made most of her clothes during her life. She also loved playing the piano, reading, ice skating and all kinds of dancing. Her favorite pastime was playing with her sheltie dogs: Katie, Molly, Heidi, Casey and Holly. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and her greatest love was serving as an ordinance worker and trainer in the Los Angeles, California temple for twenty-two years. She also served as an ordinance worker and shift coordinator at the Draper, Utah temple for almost two years. She loved all of the sisters with whom she worked. Judy is preceded in death by her parents and survived by her husband, Wiley Frank Ogle Jr.; her brother, Dr. William R. Hilton (Ronda) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a niece, Amanda Hilton (Bruce Eldridge) of Ely, Nevada; a nephew, Burton Hilton of Ely, Nevada; a nephew, Walker Hilton (Heidi) of Roanoke, Virginia, a grandniece and two grandnephews. Services will be held on , 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Crescent View Stake , 1700 East 10980 South. A viewing will be held on , 4 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the services on . Interment will take place at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. |

Obituary: H. Gill Hilton 1932 – 2012 As a man thinketh, so is he Having lived a lifetime of service to his family, church and community, Horace Gill Hilton of Orem, Utah, passed away peacefully at his home on 30, 2012. He was eighty years old. Born 28, 1932 in Delta, Millard , Utah, Gill was the third of three sons and the sixth of seven children of Wilford B and Vera Snow Hilton. He grew up working with his father and brothers on the family farm. He served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1954 to 1956 in the Western States Mission. While serving his mission he met the love of his life, Colleen Kirgan. were sealed for time and eternity on 9, 1956, in the Salt Lake Temple. have ten children, forty-six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Gill graduated with a BS from Brigham Young University in 1957 and with a PhD from North Carolina State University in 1962. He taught at BYU in the Statistics Department for 34 years and while there served as chair for 11 years. He was a gifted educator who loved interacting with students. He retired from BYU in 1996. Gill enjoyed church service and felt privileged to serve as a mission president (Virginia Roanoke), stake president, stake presidents counselor, high councilor, bishop and temple worker. He was well-versed in church doctrine and policy. When he spoke, he did so directly and as one having authority, and many were blessed by his teaching and testimony. Gill is survived by his wife, Colleen Kirgan; nine children Hugh (Nalene) Logandale, NV; Duane (Alysia) Glenview, IL; Kathryn Chlarson (Keith) Wales, UT; Laurie Scott (Neill) Orem, UT; Sterling (Heidi) Orem, UT; Mariann Hilton (Bruce) Idaho Falls, ID; Nancy Hilton (Gary) Orem, UT and Huntingtown, MD; John (Tiffany) South Jordan, UT; and Stephen (Michelle) Pleasanton, CA; 44 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; siblings Lora Whiting (Mapleton, UT), Carol Prusse (Littleton, CO), Dawn Porter (Maeser, UT), Bruce Hilton (Saratoga, CA), Clesse Hilton (Kaysville, UT) and Lael Lovell (St. George, UT). He was preceded in death by son Dallin and granddaughters Brooke Hilton and Brittany Chlarson. Services will be held 11:00am , 6, 2012, at the LDS Chapel located at 900 South 50 West, Orem, UT. Viewings will be held , 5, 2012, 6:00 – 8:00pm at Walker Sanderson , 646 East 800 North, Orem, UT, and prior to the funeral service at the chapel beginning at 9:30am. Interment is at Orem .
