Obituary: Bobby William Hill, age 72, of Santa Paula passed from this life on , 28, 2015, at home. He was born 19, 1943, in Bakersfield, CA, to William (Bill) and Thelma Hill. He was the oldest of five children. He graduated from Fillmore High School in 1961. He attended nights at Ventura right after High School. He worked for Bermite in Saugus, CA, transferred to Vandenberg in Lompoc, CA, and then had the opportunity to go work in Houston, Texas, at NASAs space center in the Testing Dept. When returning to the West Coast we went to work in Indio, CA, and areas of California Oil Drilling and later Steam Drilling in Lakeport, CA, before settling back down in Ventura . He is preceded in death by two daughters Sheila Marie and Carrie Rene Hill, a brother Donald Eugene Hill, his father William and grandparents, William and Beatrice Hill and Robert and Nellie Hankins. He is survived by a wife Susan M. Hill, a son Christopher Lee Hill (Rosalie Hill) of Santa Paula, a daughter Lisa Marie Hill of Sacramento, CA. Grandchildren Wesley Coons, of Sacramento, Amber Frinzell of Citrus Heights, CA, Christopher Lee, Aiden Luther and Tristan William of Santa Paula, CA, and Savhanna K. Kozar of Alma, AR. His Mother Thelma Hill of Alma, AR, two brothers Billy W. Hill (Barbara) of Victorville, CA, Larry W. Hill of Clearlake, CA a sister Lois Kozar (John) of Alma, AR, And Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. Viewing will be held at Skillin-Carroll Mortuary 738 E. Santa Paula Street, Santa Paula, CA 6, 2016 at 10:00am, with a Service Starting at 11:00am also at Skillin-Carroll Mortuary. Graveside Service at Santa Paula 380 Road, Santa Paula, CA at noon. Obituary: Bobby J. Hill passed away peacefully while convalescing from heart surgery at Bayside , Morro Bay, California, on , 9, 2015. He was 72. Hill is survived by his wife Yolanda and children: Michelle Hill, Charlene (Hill) Bennett (Reginald), and Raquel Hill; brother John Earl Hill (Pam); sister Louise Washington (James); three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; stepfather Forest Murry; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Born 1942, in Naples, Texas, Hill graduated from Oxnard High School and attended Ventura Jr. and LaVerne University, Masters degree earned. Hill served 28 years as a probation officer in Ventura . He retired in 1993 and later worked as substitute teacher in Oxnard and Morro Bay. Visitation will take place on , 17, 2015, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at the Ted Mayr , 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. A Celebration of Life will also take place at Ted Mayr , , 18, 2015, at 11:00 am. The 1st Memorial Honors Detail will render military honors.
