Obituary: Alice R. Houston, age 63, was born 27, 1941 in Ponca City, OK. She passed away on , 5, 2004 in San Antonio, TX after a courageous battle with cancer. Alice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her hands were always busy helping her family, friends and community. Her loving heart was always evident in her words and deeds. AliceÂs dedication to her faith and family and the honor and respect she showed for her parents was inspiring. The many lives she touched have been enriched and this world is a better place for Alice having walked this way. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, compassion and peace. Alice is preceded in death by her brother, Leon Gower. Alice is survived by her husband of 43 years, John P. Cameron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Coy Leon Shirley, Jr., and Larry Housman, Sr. and best friend Michael Albert Rice. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Sheryl Shirley and Matt Greenwood, father, Barry Housman, sister Brittani Housman, brother Colt Terpstra, stepbrother and sister Kameron and Lilli Greenwood, grandparents Susan Shirley and Ray Menzel, Katie and Ken Cox. Also many uncles, aunts, cousins, friends. He will be especially missed by his boxer Cain. He attended Emmott Elementary School, Campbell Middle School, and graduated from Taylor High School. Obituary: HOUSLEY, LELAND JAY age 93, passed away 18, 2014 in Pocatello, Idaho. He was a long time resident of Dallas, Texas. Lee was born 13, 1921 in Sugar City, Idaho. He was the oldest of 3 children born to Gilman Jay and Sophia Mae Housley. He spent his formative years in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Like so many young men at the time of World War II he joined the service and was trained as a navigator, in the Army Air Corp. the war he attended the University of Utah and met his future wife Marie Burnett who was the love of his life. were married in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on 25, 1948. had 5 children and were devoted parents. He graduated from the University of Utah and began a career in the furniture business. He later opened his own business, Housley Brothers Furniture with his brother Ron in Oklahoma City. He also had two furniture stores in Dallas and sold this business and retired in 1980. Lee served many positions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served three missions to Africa with his wife. His greatest love next to his wife and family was the temple service he gave in the Dallas Texas Temple. He loved the game of golf and played at Glen Eagles Country Club and played until his 92 year. His loving wife of 66 years Marie and 5 children survive him. Jay Housley (Lana), Debi Reading (Chris), Marsha Curry, Shauna Taylor (Randy-deceased), Todd Housley (Karen). Lee has a large posterity with 25 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 1 one great-great grandson. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, , 25, 2014 at Restland . service will be held at 1:00 PM, , 26, 2014 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church in Dallas, TX. He owned a farm and produced wheat, corn, milo, cotton, sunflowers, and other grains. He loved golf and hunting and especially loved being with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Theresa Gann and Carolyn Orr.
