Obituary: Harvey John Holwerda passed away peacefully on 6, 2013 at his home with his children by his side. A resident of Dallas for the last 44 years of his life, he was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to George and Margery Holwerda. He was 83 years old. He was preceded in death by his grandchild Sarah Jane in 2008 and his beloved wife Theresa in 2001; that in 52 years of marriage created many loving memories for all to share. Harvey spent his professional years as a successful National Sales Manager for a number of companies. In later years Harvey and Teresa traveled abroad to Great Britain, Switzerland and Italy; and in the United States made many trips to New England for the fall foliage, and New Orleans for Jazz festivals. His hobby was raising Pigeon show birds for regional competitions; especially at the Texas State Fair where he regularly placed first in show and delivered Grand Champions. His passion was his family, especially being with his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his children Ann Roman (Dallas, TX), Margery Dzenowksi (Sherman ,TX), Mary Leonard and husband Andy, (Parker,CO) George Holwerda and wife Julie, (Richardson, TX), Terri Jordan and husband Michael, (Combine, TX) and John Holwerda and wife Michele, (Plano,TX) 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on May 18th at Ted Dickey , Plano,TX at 1pm. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. |

Joe was preceded in death by his wife Gloria, parents John Emmitt and Velma Holveck, siblings Norman, Andrea, Ray, Ethlene, Louise, and Evelyn . A funeral service will be held at Roselawn and Memorial 1000 S. Hwy 175, Seagoville Texas at 10:00 a.m. on 20, 2015. Obituary: Daniel Joseph Holubec, Jr. went to be with our Lord and Savior on 26, 2014. Services will be held at 11am on , 2, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church of Lubbock, TX. Visitation will be held at 6pm on , 1, 2014 at Resthaven and Memorial Park of Lubbock, TX. Dan was born in Ft. Worth, TX on 3, 1945, to Daniel Joseph & Ruth Elizabeth (Palmer) Holubec. He graduated from Paschal HS in 1963, and went on to attend Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. From there he joined the Navy, where he served our country four years and achieved an honorable discharge. He then pursued a career at Methodist Hospital as Director of Materials and Supply, where he worked for nineteen years. It was there that Dan met his loving wife, Diane Bissey of Roswell, NM. married on 27th, 1974. Dan was a lighthearted, fun loving, gentle and kind man. He had a heart of gold, and his faith in God was of the utmost importance. He was loved by many, and was held in the highest regard. His favorite pastimes included watching Texas Tech football with his son, reading, going to the mountains with his wife, spending time with grandchildren and landscaping. It was his love of landscaping which led him to work at All Seasons Property for fourteen years. Dan loved people, so after retirement, he worked at United Market Street, prior to his passing. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Ruth Holubec, and his sister, Suzanne Cozzens. He is survived by his wife, Diane; daughter D'Ann Lane and her husband Brandon of Ft. Worth, TX; son Darin Holubec and his wife D'Ann of Lub-bock, TX, and 7 grandchildren: Peyton, Taylor, Christopher, Cameron, Jolee, J'Lyn and Jaxon. Obituary: Wilbert Holub passed away , 21, 2010. He was born 12, 1927 Palo Pinto Texas to Henry and Julie Holub. On 30, 1954 he married Valencia Jarrett in Strawn, Texas. Wilbert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for two years and was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal. Prior to his retirement, he had worked for El Paso Natural Gas as an electrician for 33 years. Wilbert enjoyed many hobbies, including gardening, fishing, frying fish and eating BBQ.
