Obituary: Jerry Wayne Holland passed away 21, 2014 in Houston Texas after a short illness. Wayne was born 16, 1950 in San Angelo, Texas to Doyle Wayne Holland and Martha Ann (Weddle) Holland. He married Amy Michelle Brown in San Angelo on 9, 1970 and they shared 44 wonderful years of marriage. Wayne and Amy have two children: daughter Christy Ann Herrera and son Scott Wayne Holland. have three grandsons of their daughter with her husband Orlando Herrera; Stephan, Aaron and Gabriel Herrera, and two daughters of their son with his wife Stacey Eacott; Tivoli and Soleil Holland. In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, Wayne is survived by his mother, Martha Holland and his brother Guy Holland. Wayne is also survived by many extended family members in the Weddle family, the Holland family, the Fletcher family, the Eacott family, the Paulsen/Wimmer family and the Brown family. Family was very important to Wayne, and he loved them all deeply. He especially loved all of the family he gained through marriage and friendships. To Wayne family was not a blood bond, but a bond of mutual love and respect. Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Wayne Holland, his step-father James Fletcher, his mother-in-law Olean Brown, his brother Steve Fletcher and his sister Leslie Bowen-Hand. Wayne spent his early years in San Angelo, where he was an Eagle Scout and a member of Trinity Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Central High School and attended Angelo State University. Wayne worked at San Angelo Country Club as a golf professional until 1977. He and Amy later resided in Navasota and Round Rock, Texas. In 1991 he and Amy moved to Monett, Missouri where they both work for Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. Wayne was an exceptionally kind man who accepted everyone and was loved by all. He always had a kind word and his witty charm was endearing to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. His legacy is his children and grandchildren, through whom his kindness and generosity of heart lives on. He always had a huge smile, an appreciating eye, and an even larger heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at Johnsons in San Angelo Texas on , 27 at 2:00 PM, with his childhood friend Harold Watkins conducting the service. Wayne would be honored if memorial contributions were made in his name to PBS, whose programming he supported and loved. Contributions in his name may also be made to a charity of choice. Obituary: Jeremy Lyn Holland, 43, of Station passed away , May 12 tragically in a motorcycle accident in Grimes . service will be held at 10:00 a.m. , May 18 at Memorial Chapel in Bryan. Interment will follow at Giesenschlag in Snook. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Jeremy was born 15, 1974 in Bryan the son of Charles and Velma Dean (Wood) Holland. He was proud to be a part of Alcoholic Anonymous; where he has been sober for 15 years. Jeremy enjoyed barbequing, cooking, camping, bee keeping, fishing and hunting. He just enjoyed being outdoors. Jeremy was a gentle man and loved his children very much. He was full of life and loved life to the fullest. Jeremys priorities in life were God, his children, family and work. Obituary: Janet Holland passed from this earthly life to her heavenly life on 6, 2014. Janet was born 5, 1950, in San Angelo, Texas to Angeline Michalik and Clifton Simcik, the first of five daughters. Janet grew up on a farm near Wall, Texas and was very proud of her Czech heritage and rural upbringing. She married Greg Huling in august 1971, and from this union, two sons were born. On 7, 1989, she married My Rock Bill Holland (The Father He Didn Have To Be), in San Angelo. celebrated 25 years of marriage. Janet attended Fairview Elementary, Edison Jr. High and San Angelo Central High School, graduating in May 1968. She attended Angelo State University for 2 ½ years and then began studies in radiology technology. Following training in Wichita Falls, Lubbock, and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, she passed the national registry and began working as a registered radiologic technologist in Waco and San Angelo. Janet also worked as Director of Volunteers at Angelo Community Hospital from 1986 to 2000. She loved being MOM to all the volunteers and cherished the many relationships she developed during those years. She then returned to her original profession and worked at West Texas Medical Associates as a radiologic technologist until her untimely death. Janet was involved in the community through Beta Sigma Phi, the Junior League of San Angelo, the Angelo Community Auxiliary Concho Valley Boy Scouts and Sierra Vista United Methodist Church. She is most proud of being Bills wife, her family, which includes her 3 eagle scout sons, being Nettie to her precious grandchildren, being one of the 5 Simcik sisters, and being part of the CCC class at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church. Janets Hobby was her family. She loved spending time with her husband, Bill, at their family property on Spring Creek. Nettie especially loved when the children and grandchildren, other family and friends joined them there. She enjoyed traveling with Bill on many adventures, and loved seeing all the incredible beautiful places of this earth. She especially loved St. Barts, the Czech Republic, Yellow Stone National Park, Alaska, Patagonia, Peru, and of course all of the diverse places in Texas. Janet was full of joy and anticipation on a flight to Alaska when the Lord called her home. Janet was widely known as a hugger, and people often told her that she gave the best hugs. Her signature was CYH\\ Consider yourself hugged. Janet was preceded in death by parents Angeline and Clifton Simcik and inlaws, Virginia and Chase Holland, Jr., grandparents and other relatives. Janet is survived by her husband Bill. Other survivors include Children, their spouses and grandchildren: Missy and Grant Huling, of Leander, TX, their children, Ava and Grayson Huling: Natalie and Garrett Huling, of Cedar Park, TX and their children, Madelyn, Harper and grandson due in : Jenn and David Holland, of Santa Cruz, CA and Chelsea Holland, of San Angelo. Also surviving are sisters and spouses, Cindy and Roy Martin, of San Angelo, Kathy and Jimmy Harris, of Cornelia, GA, Peggy Black, of San Angelo and Nancy and Shawn Oliver, of San Saba. Also surviving are brother-in-law and sister-in-law Chase and Kay Holland of San Angelo. She is also survived by her extended family including many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. \ 7:00 P.M., , 10, 2014 at Johnsons . The Service will be 10:00 A.M., , 11, 2014 at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church with Rev. Steven Sweet and Rev. Tamara Strehli officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount . Pallbearers for the service will be Jack Lewright, Bill Lane, David Lupton, Bill Lehne, Wade Martin, Bryan Black, Kenny Michalik and Ronnie Michalik.
