Obituary: Mary Mardell Hoerig, age 72, lived in her home in Burleson Texas. She went to be with the Lord on Feb. 15, 2017 while receiving hospice care at Crowley and Rehab surrounded by her friends and family. Mardell was born in Decatur, Alabama on 22, 1944. She moved to Fort Worth, Texas as a young child where she met her soul mate as he was delivering news papers in 1958. got married in 3, 1960 and moved to Burleson in 1962. She was a hair stylist, window builder, typist, and office manager. Her main occupation was a home maker. She enjoyed cooking holiday dinners and getting together with the family. She took great pride in caring for her mother and her husband. She loved and was so proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren which all brought her joy. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing with family, and going on short road trips with Ray Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, loving husband Ray Sr. and her grandson Ray III “Trey”. She is survived by her son, Ray Jr. and wife Kari; son, David and wife Raeann; grandchildren, Jason and wife Kami, Crystle, Paul and wife Marsha, ShelbieRae, and Bailey; great-grandchildren, Kaylie, Max, Colton, Sadie, Madison, Memphis, Jaxon, and Haven Rae; nieces, Betty and Beverly; nephews, Jimmy and Johnny. The family would like to give a special thanks to her long time friends Alta Mae Thornton and Beth Smith as well as her neighbor Angela for all that they did for our mom. In addition Ray and David would like to thank all of the family that help care for mom, it was a group effort and Kari for going the extra mile to help with anything anyone needed. Obituary: Mary Ann Gillar Hoerig, 77, of Victoria passed away , 3, 2015 after a courageous fight with cancer. She was born 5, 1938 in Moulton to the late Ernest and Annie Cinadr Gillar. She was a loving homemaker and wife. She operated a daycare and was nanny to many children. Mary Ann loved to travel, enjoyed playing cards and her gambling trips. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she was active in the Altar Society, the Catholic Daughters and the quilting group. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, the love of her life, Lester Hoerig of Victoria; daughters, Sandra Alkek of Victoria and Debra Thompson of San Antonio; son, Ronald Hoerig and wife, Kerri of Victoria; grandchildren, Travis and wife, Courtney Alkek, Katy and husband, Chris Ochoa, Morgan Alkek, Amanda and husband, Robert Zamora, Eric Thompson, Ryan and wife, Lauren Hoerig, Kassie Hoerig and Karly Hoerig; great-grandchildren, Dylan and John Ochoa, Caden Zamora and Harper Hoerig. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, George Gillar and Danny Gillar; a granddaughter, Kristina Hoerig; sons-in-law, Lance Alkek and Brad Thompson. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 pm , 5, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Obituary: Pat Hoenscheid, age 69, peacefully passed away while surrounded by her loving family on 22, 2006, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born 18, 1937, in Cabler Place, north of Ipswich, South Dakota, to the late Sebastian and Mary S. Kreitel Selzler. Pat loved to spend many hours reading, knitting, crocheting and creating her own greeting cards. She loved a good joke, hugging someone in need and was fearless when standing up for what she believed. Her faith in God was immeasurable and she felt that no matter who you were, we were all His children. The love for her family was just as immeasurable, as she wholeheartedly cherished every moment and memory she shared with each of them. Pat and Milo, her husband of almost 49 years, enjoyed fishing in the Missouri River and streams in the Black Hills of South Dakota, gambling in Reno and Las Vegas, ocean kayaking in Hawaii, learning Texas History when they moved to San Antonio in 1998, and traveling the country together. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kristi Magee; brothers, Clemens Kreitel, Elmer, Elmer, Edward and Wilbur Selzler; sisters, Angelo, Angelo and Elvira Selzler; nephews, Dennis and Don Kreitel. Pat is survived by her loving husband, Milo J. Hoenscheid; daughters, Cheryl Mathis, Kara Hughes and husband, Todd; son-in-law, Fred Magee, Jr.; grandchildren, Amanda Mathis, Bryce and Karisa Magee, Jessica, Benjamin and Emily Hughes; great-grandchildren, Quintin Bjorum and Kaysen Magee; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service is being planned to take place on a later date at St. JohnÂs Catholic Church, Fort Pierre, South Dakota.
