Obituary: Beverly Jean Hensley (Hunter) passed from this life 29, 2017 at the age of 73. She was born in Slidell, LA on 26, 1944. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Carpenter Jr., loving grandmother, Ada Wactor and loving mother, Clarice Hunter. Beverly is survived by her two sons, William Thomas Carpenter, III and his wife Karen, Sean Christopher Hensley and his wife Molly; four grandchildren, Ethan Luukas Carpenter, Jacob Tyler Hensley, Jaden Hunter Hensley and Drake Archer Hensley; and special friends, Peg Marquart, Becky Cox, Judith Sanson, Lori Litzinger and Bruce Bowles. Beverly was an ER nurse working the night shift in Houston for over 30 years. Starting at Alief General Hospital, she went on to work at Rosewood Hospital and eventually retiring from West Houston Medical . She loved nursing and the countless doctors and nurses with whom she got to work with. She had a great sense of humor that was a requirement for working in the ER and her stories of ER patients were both funny and educational at times. Beverly loved dogs, especially poodle(s), her latest named Ginger, and had a rescue dog named Harry. She also dearly loved Alaska. Alaska was the only place she would vacation and had a special love for going to Turnagain Arm and watching the Bore Tide from Beluga Point. A private family and friends memorial service will be held to celebrate the life of Beverly Jean Hensley on May 6, 2017 in Houston, TX. |

Obituary: On 8, 1924, Bertha M. Driscoll was born to Benton Driscoll and Mary Taylor in Houston, Texas. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to James H. Hensley. marrying James H. Hensley, three children were born: Sherry Ann LeBlanc (deceased), Jimmie L. Casey, and Kelly Weigel. Though she spent the majority of her life as a homemaker, she held clerk positions in the retail market. She joined the H2O Group after the death of her husband. Bertha enjoyed quilting, the casino and traveling. Though she never traveled abroad, she did make her way to both Canada and Mexico. She transitioned from this life on 4, 2016 after 92 years of a life well lived. She is survived by two daughters: Jimmie L. Casey (Otis Glenn) and Kelly Weigel (Dale), grandchildren: Mark Casey, Jerri Young, Shelly Harrison, Keith LeBlanc and Ginger Taylor, great-grandchildren: Cody Goebel, Samantha Spriggs, Blake Casey, Jake Harrison, Dalton LeBlanc, Colton LeBlanc, Zane Taylor and Haze Taylor. Obituary: Alma Allene Hensley, 85, of Texarkana, AR passed away , 14, 2016 at home. She was a Christian and attended Holy Springs Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, G. W. Hensley, (married in 1950). Also preceded in death by her mother, father, one sister and two brothers. She and her husband owned Grim Street Grocery and Pebble Beach in Genoa, AR. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, George Wesley Hensley and Daniel Wayne Hensley and Betty Hensley; sisters-in-law, Gloria Morphew and Georgia Faye Hensley; sisters, Linda Morphew Henderson, Linda Schnieder, Belva Sue Daniel and Nyla Joe McPhearson; brother, Jerry Fielding; brothers-in-law, Timmy Hensley, Steve Hensley and Jeff Hensley; 5 grandchildren, Nikki Chambley, Mathew Hensley, Mitchell Hensley, Emilee Hensley and Ashlee Hensley; and a special grandson, Cody Hensley; and 6 great grandchildren. She was well loved by the staff of Windsor Cottage and Dierksen Hospice and will always be remembered by that pretty smile. Graveside service will be 2 p.m., , 17, 2016 at Genoa Church of Christ with Jeff Hensley officiating. Burial is under the direction of East - Downtown.
