Obituary: Billy Joe Hart, 86, of Blossom, passed away , 05, 2014, at Paris care. Bright-Holland has scheduled graveside services for 2:00 p.m. , Dec. 7th, at Knights of Honor in Blossom. Mr. Hart, the son of Clayton Weldon & Letha Faye Beets Hart, was born Sept. 9, 1928, in Ft. Worth. He served in the U. S. Navy as an Able Seaman from Jan. 7, 1946 – Jan. 6, 1948. He was a heavy equipment mechanic in Dallas, working a number of years for Shaw Equipment before his retirement. He was an avid Bluegrass Music fan. He & his wife, Helen Ruth, lived in Dallas until 1998, when they moved to Blossom. loved traveling and had traveled to many states. Survivors include his wife, Helen Ruth Jones Hart, whom he married on 11, 1949, building sixty-five years of family and memories, two sons, Kevin Hart & wife Rosa of Tye and Karl Hart of Plano, one daughter, Kim Richey & husband Jerry of Paris, a son-in-law, Mick Foster of Johntown, grandchildren, Clare Hart, Janice Larson & husband Brandon, Brandi Richey, Shelby Richey, Sean Hart, Ghyna Malone and Hoit Malone and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Hart and one daughter, Kerry Foster. |

Obituary: Billy Houston Hart, 82, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away 8, 2013 at his residence. He was born on 30, 1930 in Floydada, TX. He married Opal Joyce Poole on 22, 1953 in Clovis, NM. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War and spent 32 years with Energas as a meter reader and supervisor, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff Davis Hart and Stella Gaither Hart. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Joyce; three daughters, Rhonda Gentry, Terry Mace (Gary) and Jami Lusk (Clay); six grandchildren, Shannan, Jeff, Jennny, Jonathan, Matthew and Michael; four great-granddaughters, Reagan, Abby, Kaylee and Skyler. A celebration of life service will be held on , 12, 2013 at 10:00a.m. in Resthavens Abbey Chapel, 5740 19th St, Lubbock. A visitation will be held this evening from 6:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. at Resthaven. Billy was loved by all who knew him. He never met a stranger and made everyone feel special. He loved watch his children and grandchildren play sports. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. |

Obituary: Betty Sue Logan Hart 27, 1933 ~ 13, 2010 Betty Sue Logan Hart, lovingly known as Sue, was born on 27, 1933 and joined her Lord in heaven on , 13, 2010. services will be 2:30 p.m., , 18, 2010 at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church Chapel, 1300 Columbus Avenue, with Rev. Ron Durham officiating. She touched many with her strength, determination and perseverance. She never failed to share her faith with all who crossed her path. She met her husband Walter in 1954 and they began their friendship as pen pals when he was stationed in Hawaii. Their courtship blossomed and they were married 27, 1956 in Galveston, TX. Together they raised three loving children in Waco. Her Baylor education allowed her to devote her life to teaching children with continuous love and patience. Sue was welcomed into heaven by Walter and their son, Tommy. She is survived by daughters DeLene and Lisa who loved and supported her in life and aspire to follow her example in being a godly woman; her sister-in-law Peggy Phelps and niece Dee Rodgers and her treasured grandchildren, Logan, Catherine, Caroline, Clark Jr., William, Andrew and Alexander.
