Obituary: Annie Lavone ÂVon Harmon Von was born on 20, 1934 in Superior, Wyoming to Emma and Clyde Rock. She moved with her parents and two sisters to Utah at an early age and excelled in both creative and educational pursuits; being voted the person ÂMost Likely to SucceedÂ. achieving her vocational goals, she married the love of her life and traveled around the world with her husband; first on the whims of the Navy detailer; and later as a result of her husbandÂs post-naval career. Von raised her two daughters then returned to the work force as an RN; where she spent happy and productive years in the Labor and Delivery ward of a very busy hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents Emma and Clyde her youngest sister Phyllis and her husband Pete. She is survived by her sister - Claudia Worthington; two daughters - Cena Michelle Harmon Ron Logdahl and Barbara Ann Harmon-Cowherd Kevin; and four grandchildren Â- Emma Lisette Logdahl, Calvin Rhys Cowherd, Aidan Bryce Cowherd and Zoe Bryn Cowherd. She also leaves a faithful companion, Peanut, who was blessed by her uncanny ability to rescue dogs from difficult situations. Von left this world on 25, 2007 to join her husband of over 50 years. While here she used her talents and creativity to enrich the lives of her friends and family; and in her death she proves that true love is stronger than the bonds of this earth, and that a happy life is a blessing to all who observe it. |

Obituary: Annette Harmon A memorial service for Annette Harmon will be 11am 25, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church in Harker Heights. Annette Harmon was born to Frank and Estelle Brock 17, 1922, in Mansfield Louisiana and passed away 21, 2016 in Harker Heights. She grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana and graduated from C. E. Byrd High School. Upon graduation from high school Annette enrolled at Louisiana Tech and graduated in 1942. She worked her way through college earned a diploma in three years. Annette met Tom Harmon and they were wed 8, 1943, a marriage that lasted over seventy years. had two sons, Dennis and Bob Harmon. Annette was preceded in death by her husband Tom Harmon, her parents Frank and Estelle Brock, and two brothers, Ivan and Charles Brock. She is survived by her sons Dennis and his spouse Beverly, Bob and his spouse Cathy, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Annett taught in the Killeen School District for over thirty years and strived to set goals for students to better themselves. Her love and caring ways will be sorely missed by those who loved and knew her. Rest in peace Annette. |

Obituary: Harmeyer, Leonard passed peacefully into the Kingdom of God on the evening of 21, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his beloved wife Bette and children Karen, Kurt, Karl, and Kristie. Born on 2, 1931 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Len lived a full and complete 79 years highlighted by: his 57 years as a husband to Bette (the only love of his life); his love, guidance, and wisdom given to his four children; his service to his country in the United States Marine Corps in Korea; his successful business career culminating with his retirement from Allstate Insurance; and his never ending joy shared with his grandchildren (Ryan, Katie, Ashley, Amanda, Abby, Jennifer, and Matthew) and his great-grandchildren (Elise and Megan). Len graduated Tulane University at the age of 19 and enlisted into the Marine Corps in 1951. While stationed in California, he met and married Bette Peifer from Springfield, Illinois. Len and Bette were married on 11, 1953 at St. Anns Church in Santa Anna, California. welcomed their first child shortly before Len began his tour in Korea. Upon Lens Honorable Discharge from the Marine Corps, Len and Bette moved their family to New Orleans, but also lived in Omaha and Amarillo as his career in insurance blossomed. Len moved his young family to the Dallas area in 1968 and never left. All his children graduated from Pearce High School in Richardson. Neighbors would daily see him walking his beloved family dog, Sunny. A Rosary Service will be held for Len at All Saints Catholic Church located at 5231 Meadowcreek Drive, Dallas, Texas 75248 at 7:00 PM on , 25, 2010. His cousin, Father Henry Engelbrecht of New Orleans, will concelebrate his funeral service (the next day) at All Saints Catholic Church at 10:30 AM on , 26, 2010. Len will be buried at the Dallas Fort-Worth National on , 27, 2010. Len was, and is still dearly loved, but will be greatly missed. Obituary: Bette J. Harmeyer 3, 1929 - 8, 2012 Bette Jean Peifer Harmeyer passed away on 8, 2012 to join her beloved husband, Leonard F. Harmeyer. Bette was 82 years old and left a legacy of love as she lived her faith in Jesus and her devotion to His Mother, Mary. Bette was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois until she moved to Santa Anna, California in 1948. She married Len in 1953 and they shared 57 years together. Bette and Len cherished their four children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Bette, a very active member of All Saints Catholic Church since 1978, will be dearly missed in the church community. With caring and dignity, she led and participated in many of the church programs over the years. Bette began Our Ladys Rosary Makers at All Saints and was most proud of her group for having sent 365,000 handmade rosaries around the world. She will be remembered by many whose lives she touched and for the role model she portrayed. Those who knew Bette will always remember her strong faith and gentle love. Bette is survived by her children, Karen, Kurt, Karl and Kristie; her sons-in-law, Terry and Chris, and daughter-in-law, Linda; her grandchildren, Ryan, Katie, Ashley, Amanda, Abby, Matt and Jennifer; and her great-grandchildren, Elise and Megan.
