Obituary: Services for Oleta Ruth Hall, 79, of Diboll, will be held at 2:00 p.m. , 11, 2015 at Fairview Baptist Church, with Bro. Gene Hazell officiating. Interment will follow in the Berry . Mrs. Hall was born 29, 1936 in Lufkin, Texas, the daughter of the late Nettie Mae (Anderson) and Barney Benjamin Goins. She passed away , 7, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Hall was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was also a retired CNA and enjoyed quilting and crocheting for nursing homes and the homeless. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, which she loved very much. Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Duke and husband Curtis, Tereasa Kitchens, Charlene Squyres and husband Trent; son, Barney Hall and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Tami Risinger and husband Patrick, Jason Kitchens, Randi Morley and husband Jeremiah, Jeremy Hall and wife Ashlee, Autumn Wornell and fiancé Joey Mayer, Crystal Galloway and husband Bryan, Derek Constante and wife Tiffany, Jeff Compton and wife ; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Billie Bryce, Sarah Mott and husband Jose, Jerry Goins and wife Glenda, Waynette Patterson and husband Pat, Jimmy Goins and wife Barbara; sister-in-law, Nell Goins; and a number of other family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Kenith Maynard Hall in 1995; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mabel and Burl Hall; brothers, Herman Goins and Benny Goins; sister-in-law, Linda Goins; and son-in-law, Phillip Kitchens. Pallbearers will be Kenith Goins, Bryan Galloway, Jeff Compton, Derek Constante, Ben Goins Jr., and Joey Mayer.. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Bryce, Jason Kitchens, Randy Patterson, and Jeremy Hall. Obituary: Norma Mae Murphy Hall, age 79, left for Heaven on Nov. 8, 2015. She died from injuries she sustained in , 2014. Norma was born in Newlin, TX and grew up in Lelia Lake and Clarendon, graduating from Clarendon High School. She had an accounting degree from Amarillo . She was a middle child in a family of nine children. Her father was killed when she was nine due to a train/semi-truck wreck. Norma learned to cook for a large family; plus developed good sewing and decorating skills. Norma was a Christian, stay-at-home mom until Richard began school. She was well-known for making Italian Cream Cake and Peanut Butter Cookies. She was a seamstress for her daughter, she crocheted, attended PTA, taught Bible Classes, and was assistant leader for Camp Fire Girls. She made costumes for Richards scout group, the Keystone Cops. Norma worked many years at NWTH School of and as Financial Aid Officer in NWTH Accounting. She was going to WTSU at night for another degree until she took custody of and raised two of her grandchildren. She retired from NWTH after an on-the-job fall. She made many lifelong friends there. Norma served on various committees and held offices of Treasurer, Vice-President, and President of Amarillo Credit Women, International. She also chaired a Fibromyalgia Support group. Norma has had more friends than most of us would ever dream of having. She was extremely caring, hopeful, helpful and giving. She went on many adventures and trips with her best friend, Linda Ussery. Linda took Norma to ND to see Cindys family, to Californias coast, to Virginia, Tennessee and many other places over the years and they always had a good time! Norma has been an active member at Central Church of Christ for over 30 years. She has many good friends there and they were a real blessing to her over the years. Norma was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Dale Hall; son Richard Dale Hall, and a granddaughter, Candy. Norma is survived by four sisters; Velma and Geneva of Clarendon,; Ellen of Amarillo,; and Nadine of Overland Park, Kansas; her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Verlin Hochstetler; four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. An informal celebration of the fun memories from Normas life will be held , 12 at 4:00 p.m. at Griggs Schooler Gordon Pioneer Chapel, 5400 Bell. Come prepared to write down or share a fun memory you have of Norma and dress casually-perhaps in Normas favorite peacock colors: blues, greens, and purples.. Obituary: .Nelle Dunlop Hall passed from this world surrounded by her family on 17, 2016 in Austin, Texas. She was born on 12, 1939 in Clarksville, Tennessee to Nelle Hurston Dunlop and William Barrett Dunlop, Jr. Nelle graduated from Clarksville High School, where she was homecoming queen, and attended the University of Tennessee, where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She met the love of her life, then-1st Lieutenant H. Glenn Hall, Jr., who was stationed at nearby Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, and they were married on 2, 1960. As a devoted army wife, she followed Glenn to Ft. Bliss, TX; Erding, Germany; Würzburg, Germany; Ft. Sill, OK; Westport, CT; West Point, NY; Ft. Leavenworth, KS and Camp Zama, Japan. Upon retirement from the military, the Halls settled in Austin, Texas, where Nelle worked for the Attorney Generals Office for 18 years. She became a dedicated Texas Longhorn fan, and she and Glenn enjoyed years of Texas football together. Nelle was an incredibly loving mother and grandmother, and was affectionately called Mama Nelle by generations of family and friends alike. She was happiest when she was doing for others. She touched countless lives in the community. She had a gift for recognizing special qualities in people and loved everyone for who they were. Mama Nelles home became a gathering place for her childrens and grandchildrens friends, and she was a second mother and grandmother to many. She shared her playful and fun loving personality, her wise counsel, and her candy cupboard with all who entered her home. She had an enormous love for animals and her home was a refuge for every pet that wandered by. She was a recent Instagram enthusiast, perfecting the fine art of sending selfies to her granddaughters and commenting on everyones photos. Mama Nelle cherished each and every relationship in her life, and her sweet spirit will live on in all those whose lives she touched. Nelle is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Lt. Col. (ret.) H. Glenn Hall Jr., son H. Glenn Hall III (Kim), daughter Nelle Sissy Gregory (Tim), grandchildren Katie Nelle Gregory, Christi Hall Gregory, Jordan Nelle Hall and TJ Kenison. Additionally, she is survived by sister Mary Marr Beckman; brothers Fred Dunlop (Jackie), Bill Dunlop (Carol); sister-in-law Marilyn Hall Baysek (Al); cousin Florence Edwards; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 9 pm on , 21 at Cook-Walden , 6100 North Lamar, Austin, Texas. Obituary: Nell Hall, a longtime resident of Dallas passed away , 2nd at her home. Born in 1933 in Hawkins, TX, she was preceded in death by her parents William and Sallie Evans, and husband of 43 years, Don Hall. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Mable Altmeyer and Myra Evans.
