Obituary: Leo S. Hagar ( Sam ), 82, of Plano, Texas, passed away on 6th 2016. The funeral mass service will be held on , 9th, at 12:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Plano, TX. Father Bradley will be officiating the service. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM at the church prior to the service. A rosary led by Father Bradley will also be held prior to the service at the church starting at 11:30 AM. Following the funeral mass service will be a reception at the home of Leo S. Hagar at 4705 Nacona Blvd, Plano, TX 75024 Sam was born in Dallas, TX at St. Paul Hospital on 30, 1933 . He served with honors in the Marine Corps and later graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Architecture. Sam had a very distinguished career as an architect and was very active in his career even in his later years. He was working at the EPA for 16 years in his role as an architect when he passed away. Sam loved cycling, gardening, dancing, fishing, traveling, and meeting new people. Sam is survived by his children, Christopher Hagar, Julianna Hagar, and James Hagar and two grandchildren, Andrew and Sarah Katheryn , his two sisters, Mary Shockey and husband H. G. Shockey; Nora Anne Wogan and husband, Kenneth Wogan, and many nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Leo Hagar, and his brother, John Michael Hagar. He was a favorite to family and friends, with his love of life, and generous nature, and will be greatly missed. Sam's strong Catholic faith was witnessed by his regular attendance, volunteerism, and weekly adoration at St. Jude's Chapel. Obituary: Brenda Allen Hagar of Dallas, Texas died , 19th at her home. Born on 14, 1970, she was the daughter of William E. Bill and Barbara Allen and grew up in Hereford, Texas. She married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life Kelby Hagar in 1992 after they graduated from Angelo State University, where she earned a BA in elementary education. moved to Cambridge, MA and Brenda began teaching while Kelby attended law school. In 1995 they moved to Dallas where she taught for many years at The Hockaday School in both a full-time and substitute capacity. Her students adored her. Whether it was 2nd grade math or 7th grade humanities, Mrs. Hagars class was always the highlight of the day for the students.Their son Trent was born in 1998 and became the center of Brendas world. She was his greatest champion and organized his sports teams and planned events for him that are too numerous to measure. She never missed a game and celebrated every achievement and milestone. Brenda was thoughtful and generous to everyone she met. When a friend had a need, she was there to put it in gear and deliver - she never would take o for an answer. She cherished her many friendships, many of them lifelong friends. Brenda lived, loved and laughed abundantly with her trademark giggle. Never one to shy away from laughing at herself, she was a humble soul who always put others first, especially her family. Brenda was a past member of the Dallas Junior League and Dallas Young Lawyers Association. She enjoyed volunteering at Trents schools: both Lamplighter and The Parish Episcopal School. She was always eager and willing to help whenever and wherever she was needed. Brenda is survived by her husband Kelby, their son Trent, her parents Barbara and Bill Allen, her brother Brent and his wife Melissa, and their daughter Mia of Austin, TX and her brother Blake and his wife Debbie from Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by her in-laws, Shannon and Kenneth Hagar of Hereford, TX and her loving extended family. A memorial service will be held at The Hockaday School, 11600 Welch Road in Dallas on , 23, 2010 at 10:00. Obituary: Doris Hagans of Georgetown, Texas passed away peacefully in her home on 10, 2015 at the age of 89. She was born in El Paso, Texas on 8, 1925 to Martha and Herbert Teat. She was one of four children. retirement, Dick and Doris traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada in their travel trailer. were charter members of the Promenaders Square Dancing Club and attended Texas Longhorn football games for 43 years. Doris was always very active in the church and she and Dick were long time members of St. John's United Methodist Church in Austin and First United Methodist Church in Georgetown. Doris was in leadership with Community Bible in Georgetown for over 12 years. Doris is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dick Hagans; daughters, Linda Hagans and Nancy Driskell; grandchildren, Melissa and Ryan Helwig, Stephanie and James Williams, Shannon and Joseph Greensage, Greg Gosdin, and Grant Gosdin; and nine great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Chandler and her husband, James; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, David Hagans, and brothers, Max and Herbert Teat, and granddaughter, Brittany Mancias. Visitation is , 14, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Cook-Walden Davis at 2900 Williams Drive in Georgetown. The funeral service will be , 16, at 10:00 am at Cook-Walden Davis with interment at Capital Parks in Pflugerville. Obituary: Virginia (Ginny) Carol Friend Hagan was born 22, 1921 to Anna Marie Marks and Arthur William Friend in Milwaukee WI. She resided in Whitefish Bay and Rockford IL. She had one brother Robert Friend and one sister, LaVerne Krieger, now deceased. Virgina graduated from Rockford High School in 1939. She attended DePaw University in Greencastle IN. Virginia married Edward Emmett Hagan (Ed) on 4, 1945, in Silver Spring MD. Ginny followed Ed to all of his assignments; Dallas, Tx, Ruston LA, Houston TX, Natchez MS, Perth West Australia, Maracaibo Venezuela and Midland, TX. Ed and Ginny are survived by their three children; Peggy Wiseman and husband Jerry of Hico, TX. Cathy Ramage of Hico, TX and Michael Hagan and wife Kate of Hong Kong. She is the loving Grandmother of Jane Black of Hico Texas, Annie Ramage, Denton, TX, Tina OJibway of Austin, TX, Halle Hagan of Washington D.C. and Abbey Hagan of Austin, TX. Great Grandmother of Garrett Turner and Brady Black both of Hico, TX. Ginny was a Lifetime Member of the Pilgrimage Garden Club in Natchez, MS. She was a long time member of the Petroleum Wives Club and Book Club. She was also a member of the Hanover Book club and the All Saints Bridge Club. She volunteered for many years for Meals on Wheels, however her greatest love was her husband and children. Mass of Christian Burial will be , Jan 15, 2015, 2PM at Calvary Hill North Chapel.
