Obituary: Bernadette Mary Hadash, 82, of Angleton, Tx, returned to the Lord on 14, 2017. Bernadette was born to Joe and Mary Kutra on 3, 1934 in Sealy, Texas. Bernadette worked for 25 years as a Head Secretary in the hospital industry for The Harris Hospital District. Bernadette is a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Prior to moving to Angleton, she sang in the church choir at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy, Texas. Bernadette graduated from Sealy High School, class of 1953. In high school she sang in choir, played clarinet in band and was on the basketball team. Bernadette graduated the Houston Business . Bernadette enjoyed baseball, football, bowling, racing, sewing, and friends. She won numerous awards in bowling. Bernadette leaves behind wonderful memories of her love of children. Bernadette loved to dance and was still dancing at 82. A fantastic mom, grandma and great-grandma. Attending every sporting event and award ceremony she could get to, which was many, even while she was a full time working mom, her family was her greatest hobby. Bernadette is preceded in death by parents, Joe & Mary Machala Kutra; and brother, Wilbert Kutra. Obituary: Alnita Sophie Hadash, 85, passed away on 10, 2016 in Weimar, Texas. Alnita was born on 20, 1931 in Columbus, Texas to the late Charles Otto and Annie Hattermann Otto. Alnita grew up in Weimar, Texas. high school, Alnita attended Nixon-Clay Commercial of Austin in 1947. On 5, 1954, Alnita married Clarence Ferdinand Hadash where they made Weimar, Texas their home. Alnita and Clarence worked side by side farming, ranching, and selling eggs to provide a living for their family. Together they raised two sons, Mickey and Tommy who were their pride and joy. On May 27, 1991, Alnita lost her beloved husband, Clarence after nearly 37 years of marriage. She continued to ranch and run her egg business with the help of her son, Tommy until her death. Alnita was a woman with a love for her family and strong Christian faith. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Alnita had a real gift for connecting with people, making them feel as if they were family. Her willingness to give of herself and in helping others, strong work ethics, and living life as a Christian were only a few of the many attributes that defined who Alnita was. Alnita is preceded in death by brother, Carl Otto and husband, Clarence Ferdinand Hadash . Alnita is survived by her son, Clarence Michael Mickey Hadash and wife Tonya of Montgomery, Texas; son Charles Thomas Tommy Hadash and wife Diane of Weimar, Texas; grandchildren Shane Baker and wife Megan; Johnathan Hadash and wife Erika; Lindsay Shifflett, and husband Blake; Clay Hadash, and Taylor Hadash; great-grandchildren Hardy Baker, Landon Hadash and Brynlynn Shifflett. Obituary: George Otto Hadac, 88, of Nacogdoches passed away May 2, 2011. He was born 9, 1923, to Joseph and Julia (Juranek) Hadac in Chicago, Illinois. He joined the Marines in World War II and was stationed in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he was a flight instructor. He remained in the Reserves as a pilot, even flying jets, until he had served his 20 years for full retirement at the rank of Major. He was one of the first groups that went to college on the GI Bill - attending and graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in teaching. He moved to Arizona in 1954 and began by teaching Physical Education and eventually Industrial Arts, becoming the Coordinator for the whole district. He taught courses in Industrial Arts as a summer course in Northern Arizona University for a number of years. He retired after 30 years of teaching, returning to Nacogdoches, Texas. He was a capable carpenter and built two of the houses in which he lived, including installing the electrical and plumbing, block laying and all else to complete the houses. He also built furniture. He liked to hunt and fish and enjoyed a good fight with a large fish! He enjoyed playing cards and was even in some bridge tournaments in the area. He loved music and was a member of the Joyful Sound Choir of Calvary Baptist Church, where he was a longtime member. He was a member of Nacogdoches Retired Teachers Association and AARP. He always had a beautiful smile and was ready to lend a helping hand when needed. He also liked to tell his stories of flying and other things he had done. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Bettie Sue (White); daughter, Georgia Musselman and husband, Gary, of Mesa, Arizona; granddaughter, Carol Dobbs and husband, Joseph, of Djibouti, Africa; grandson, Paul Johnson and wife, Lisa, of Chandler, Arizona; great-grandchildren Andrew & Lydia Dobbs and Elijah, Micah & Caleb Johnson. Also surviving are step-daughters Marilou Smith of Nacogdoches; Suzanne Baldon and husband, Paul, of Waco; Lori (Brown) Stevens and husband, Bobby, of Suwanee, Georgia; and step-son Robert Brown of Shelbyville; step-grandchildren, Amber Smith, John-Philip Mahfood, Sebastian Mahfood, Vincent Mahfood, Valerie Mahfood, Jennifer Holm, Jessica Fenton, T.J. Brown, and Robbie Brown. added numerous great-grandchildren to complete a very large and loving family. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 55 years, Yevonne (Sanders); his parents; sisters, Mamie Hadac and Molly Furst; and brother, Joseph Hadac. We all will miss his wonderful smile! Obituary: William Daniel Hackworth Dan (B.D., Billy Dan, Hack, Big Red) Hackworth passed away on 29, 2015. Dan was born on 18, 1940 and was a life-long resident of Llano, Texas. Dan was an avid reader, hunter, fisherman and a devoted father and husband. He enjoyed his anch and lake time with family and friends. Dan was a well-loved and respected homebuilder who touched many lives with his wit and wisdom throughout his 50+ year career. He was always ready to share a smile, joke or story and always made everyone feel like he had all the time in the world for them. Dan is preceded in death by his father, David Hackworth Sr., his mother Janet Fraser Hackworth, and his daughter Terri Ann Thomen. He is survived by his wife and best friend Sharon Russell Hackworth of Llano, son Dan Hackworth and wife Kellie of Pflugerville, son Jason Hackworth and wife Janet of Llano, brother David Hackworth Jr. and wife Donna of Giddings, sisters JoNell Russell Rihn of Seguin, and Cindy Russell Price of Johnson City, grandchildren Jessie and Jordan Hackworth, Laura Cooper, Elizabeth Lacy, Kaitlyn Hackworth and Kimberly Hoggatt, nieces Cheri Michelle Missy Gilbert, Janet Lynn Hackworth, Robertina Hackworth and Taylor Price, great-nephew Harrison Gilbert and many extended family and friends.
