Obituary: Heaton, Joan Lea age 82. Went to be with her Lord on , 3, 2012. She was a devoted Wife and most outstanding Mother. Joan was a maker and a member of Loveland Baptist Church. Preceded to heaven by husband of 58 years E.L. Heaton, parents Ashley and Ruth Linkes, in-laws Ida and Macy Heaton, brothers Bud, David, Gale and Lynn Linkes and special niece Vandy Sharp. Loved ones left behind, devoted children son Wayne Heaton, daughters and sons-in-law Donna and Kenny Collins and Mike and Vickie Bolding, grandson Chris Heaton, bonus grandson Bill Collins, great granddaughter Addison Heaton, brothers Allen and Paul Linkes, sisters Billie and Lee Loveday, Edith and the Late L.C. Shockley, and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm in the Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 8pm with Bro. David Hodson officiating. Obituary: Carolyn H. Heaton of South Knoxville passed away peacefully on 27, 2017 in Knoxville TN. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Sibley Howell of Knoxville TN. A graduate of Young High School, her career included real estate sales in Knoxville and Pigeon Forge TN. She was a member of Lake Forest Presbyterian Church, Knoxville TN. and a past member of the D.A.R. She loved her family and was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include her daughters, Paige H. McPherson (Dickie) Knoxville TN, Becky Price (Jim) of Townsend TN and formerly of Halls TN. Granddaughter, Beth Johnson (Aaron) and great-granddaughter Emma Simpson, all of Maryville TN. With special thanks to Holston and Rehab and Caris of Knoxville TN. Services will be held at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike Knoxville TN 37919. Visitation will be held 30, 2017 from 4:00pm–6:00pm with a 6:00pm Chapel service to follow. Rev.Mark Curtis officiating. Graveside service will be at 11:00 am on May 1, 2017 at Woodlawn 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville TN 37920.
