While managing the art department there, she was given a set of Liquitex Acrylics by their creator, Lenny Bocour of the Fredrix Taube , thus becoming the first acrylics artist in Nashville. She spent years there before being asked to join the Bobby Rogers Engineering Group and later Turner Engineering as a drafter designer. A few short years later she was offered a position with Sverdrup and Parcel as a drafter designer and graphic artist. She had a long career there, transferring with them to Clearwater, FL in 1980. She painted Keeton’s portrait which now hangs at the theatre. She joined the M3 division of Donelson Hermitage Leadership, graduating in the class of 2013 and remained an active participant. She continued to explore various artistic outlets throughout her life and had just finished her most recent commissioned portraits. Her artwork hangs all over the country. Her work is part of a current display at the Nashville Airport. LingTee never met a stranger.
