Obituary: Louise was born 27, 1917 in Seminole to parents Edd and Pearl Jarvis and passed from this life on 20, 2014 at the age of 97. She was married to Roe Honaker on 19, 1935 in Shawnee, OK. Louise was a member of the Church of Christ at Little, OK for many years where she taught childrens bible classes. Roes retirement they moved into town where they attended worship with the Central Church of Christ in Shawnee until they moved to Tealridge Independent Living, in Edmond, where she was a member at Waterloo Road Church of Christ and worshiped frequently with the residents at Tealridge. Louise was a homemaker except for a short time during WWII, when she answered a call for workers to help in the California Shipyards in LaHarbor. Louise was preceded in death by her husband Roe after 74 years of marriage; her parents; 3 sisters: Hazel, Marie and Anita; 6 brothers: Ruby, Charlie, Ray, Harry, Marion, and Glen Jarvis. Louise is survived by her son Marvin and daughter-in-law Fern of Edmond; 3 grandchildren: Vickie and husband Bruce Nunez of Corpus Christie TX, Richard and wife Cindy Honaker of Oklahoma City, LaDonna and husband Marvin Nelson of Colorado Springs, CO; 7 great-grandchildren: Warren Williamson of New Orleans, LA, Shonie Buller and husband Jimmy of New Orleans, David Honaker and wife Olivia of Machester England, Wayne Nelson and wife Gena of Virginia Beach, VA, Guy Nelson of Colorado Springs , CO; 3 great-great-grandchildren: Leah, Aubrey and Nathalie Buller of New Orleans, LA, and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at Resthaven , east of Shawnee, OK, on , 24, 2014 at 10 a.m. with burial to follow in the Resthaven Memorial Park. |
