Obituary: Phyllis Jean Hadfield passed from the embrace of her family and friends at her home in Oklahoma City on 5, 2014 and left us all sadder for her loss but better for knowing and loving her. She was seventy-seven years old. She was born 29, 1937 to Clarence and Naomi Cross in Kingfisher, OK and moved to Anadarko, OK when she was a child, where she graduated from Anadarko High School. Jean is survived by her husband Richard (Dick) W. Hadfield of the home; three daughters - Sherry Shelton and husband Floyd Henderson of Midwest City, Lyrae Helmle of Norman, OK and Jill and Gary Simonds of Rowlett, TX, and two sons - Tary Goombi of Oklahoma City and Jeff and Julie Hadfield of Blue Springs, MO; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Jean was employed for twenty years as a sheet-metal mechanic and as an office worker at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, OK from which she retired having many friends. Jean was active in and a faithful member of Leland Klegg United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. We, her family and friends, know she has gone to a better place and is reaping her well-earned eternal rest and reward. She loved her family and cherished her friends. So, we know she will watch over us with everlasting love and affection and will only be a thought away in our memories and always in our hearts. Visitation will be , 9, from 12:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. with services , 10, at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel Hill Chapel. |

Obituary: Jennifer Paige (Lambert) Haddox was born 11, 1968 in Oklahoma City to Kenneth Lambert (deceased) and Joyce Gamble of Seminole. Jennifer stepped into Heaven on , 17, 2015. Jennifer graduated from Maud High School in 1986, and at the time of her death was employed by Finley & Cook in Shawnee. On 8, 1985 Jennifer married her best friend, Keith (Keithy-Poo) Haddox who preceded her in death on 16, 2010. Their home was complete with the births of three children. Jennifer attended Fairview Baptist Church in Earlsboro. She loved camping and fishing at Lake Eufaula, country music and simply sitting on the front porch of her country home. Her favorite activity was cheering her children on in their year-long sports activities. Jennifer is survived by her children, Justin Haddox and wife Erin, Kyle Haddox, and Kristin Haddox; granddaughter, Elexis Haddox; mother, Joyce Gamble; step-dad, Ronnie Pops Gamble; sisters, Tracey Marie Bare and husband Lance of Denver, CO. and Tara Christine Benfield of Prague and fiancé Johnathan Harwell; nephews, Brett Benfield and Lambert Bare; nieces, Paige and Meagan Benfield and Elizabeth Bare; step-brother, Jack Gamble and step-sister Lacrissa Gamble and families; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends join the family in a tremendous loss at this time. Visitation will be , 20, 2015 from 8am-8pm at Resthaven . Services will be 2pm , 21, 2015 at Fairview Baptist Church, Earlsboro, with interment following at Resthaven Memorial Park. |

Obituary: services for Bethel Nadeen Haddock-Sowder will be held on , 4th, 2015, at 2;00 PM at the Reed-Culver Chapel with Pastor Jim Landalius officiating. Visitation will be held on , 3rd, 2015 from noon until 6:00 PM at Reed-Culver Chapel. Interment will follow at Tahlequah City . Bethel Nadeen Haddock-Sowder was born on 16th, 1920, the daughter of Henry Calvin and Laura Ann (Brady) Cox, in Natural Dam, AR. She grew up in a household with brothers and sisters, Charley, Arlie(Ned), Dan, Arvel (Bill)Cox, Velma Decocq, Dorothy Wilcox, and Ruth Reeder. Bethel attended school at Rosedale, AR, until the family moved to Bald Hill Community south of Tahlequah, OK in 1937. Bethel attended Tahlequah High School. On 4th, 1938, she married John Richard Haddock. Except for a short period of time, the family lived in the Stone Chapel Community until 1958 when they moved to the Keys Community. Where the Del Rancho now stands, the Wagon Wheel restaurant is where Bethel made a wide variety of her homemade pies and desserts. She also worked at the Dairy Prince. She was an excellent cook, liked raising cattle, farming, raising beautiful gardens and canning her own produce. There was always time to play a game of Bingo or to do a little sewing. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, stepmother, friend, and devoted Christian. She was a faithful member of the Seven Day Adventist Church of Tahlequah, OK and attended every week. Her husband Richard passed from this life on 25th, 1989. She married Christopher Sowder 8th, 1991 and they moved to Heritage Place in 1997. Chris passed in 2000, Bethel moved to Glenpool, OK to be closer to her son, Kenneth and his family. She continued to study her Bible and remained a faithful prayer warrior until she could no longer keep working. The Lord called this good and faithful servant home from her labors on 31st, 2015 in Glenpool after attaining the age of 95. Bethel is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Richard and Christopher, brothers Charley, Ned, Dan, Bill, and sister, Velma, stepson Gary Sowder, sister-in-law, Agnes Casady, and brother-in-law, James Haddock. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Kenneth Haddock and wife Rheta of Bixby, OK, her grandson, Michael Haddock and wife Wendy of Shreveport, LA, and her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Lucas, Kathryn, and Leah Haddock of Shreveport, LA, sisters Dorothy Wilcox of Tahlequah and Ruth Reeder of Denver, Co. She leaves her sisters-in-law, Donna Cox of Tahlequah, Helen Cox of Overland Park, KS, Sylvia Cox of Arlington, Tx. step daughter Vera Baker of Tahlequah, Ok., Sandra Abramowecz of Hulbert, OK, and Christine Reed of Fairview, OK. Her legacy lives on in her nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren, 22 nieces and nephews, and many friends and loved ones. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimers association of your choice. |
