Survivors include his parents Heather & Darren Porter of Celina, Kevin Hone of Celina, brother Kyle Porter of Celina, grandparents Sauny (Harner) & Stan Rockey of Loveland, Barb Porter of Celina, aunts & uncles; David & Mary Hone of Celina, Jason & Michelle Porter of Celina, Todd & Lauren Porter of Bluffton, S.C., Emily Adams of Columbus, Dustin & Rona Martin of Tampa, Fl and several cousins. Jaysen was preceded in death by his grandparents Dennis Hone, Joyce (Lohrentz) Hone, Judith A. Martin, Carl Porter and his uncle Jaysen Martin. He graduated with the Celina High School Class of 2014 and attended Wright State Lake Campus. Jaysen loved music he was in the High School Band, The Celina Musical, and the Celina Boy Scouts Troop #69. He was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church in Celina and the Celina American Legion Post #210. He was formerly employed at the Celina American Legion and currently employed at the Orchard Tree Restaurant. services will be held at 2:00p.m. on 8, 2015 at the Bethany United Methodist Church in Celina, with Rev. Obituary: James R. Hone, age 82 of Celina, Ohio passed away at 6:05 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2014 at the Mercer Community Hospital in Coldwater. He was born on Sept. 29, 1932 in Celina, Ohio to the late Russell & Velma (Smith) Hone. On Dec. 22, 1956 he married Donna L. Baker, who survives. Also surviving are his children Thomas (Carol) Hone of Celina, Leigh (Larry) Wolkan of Delaware, Barry (Kelly) Hone of Celina, Carrie (Bruce) McDaniel of Portage, a daughter-in-law Tamara Hone-Lutz of Hilliard, 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, his in-laws Cheryl (Vern) Hamrick of Willshire, Tom (Carolyn) Baker of Celina, Al (Charlotte) Baker of Celina, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his son Don A. Hone, who died in 1994 during his active duty with the United States Navy Special Forces, his sister Carol J. Hone, his In-laws Leo (Mary) Baker and Don (Marti-Chapin) Baker. He graduated from the Celina High School with the Class of 1950. Then he proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Seabee during the Korean Conflict. He formally trained in Architectural Design at the University of Cincinnati and over the course of more than 30 years he designed, built, or remodeled many homes, restaurants, and offices. Jim worked in the construction trade and partnered with his father in the Hone Construction most of his adult life. He was also a Co-Owner of Celina Finishing Supplies and unbeknownst to many, designed the lighthouse which graces the North West Shore of Grand Lake in Celina. He was a Celina Rotary Member, a member of MENSA for many years, he was a certified rifle instructor with the N.R.A. and was a competition shooter, Mercer Sportsman Association, he was also a member of the Celina First Presbyterian Church and actively served on various committess and he served as a Board Member of the Mercer District Library. services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Jan. 5, 2015 at the Celina First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Bruce McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp in Celina, with Military Honors. Friends may call from 2-8p.m. on Jan 4, 2015 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel in Celina and one hour before services at the Church on . He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Elizabeth Kuhns Honaker; children, Carol (Darrell) Holbrook and David T. Honaker; 3 sisters, Peg Fleser, Eleanor Armintrout, and Geneva Damron; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and many dear friends. He was a graduate of Portsmouth High School and The Ohio State University. Served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army during WWII. Thomas practiced Dentistry in the Portsmouth area for over 40 years and was a member of the American Dental Society.
