Obituary: Alamae Huffstetler 1915-2015 Gastonia– Mrs. Alamae Ballard Huffstetler, 99 went to be with her Lord and Savior on 15, 2015 at Peak Resources. She was born in Gaston , NC on 1, 1915 to the late William Loyd and Loni Bell Ballard. Alamae was a loving wonderful loving mother, grandmother who will be missed greatly! She had worked as a county administrator most of her life before retiring. She loved spending time with her family. Alamae was a member of Olney Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ralph Thomas Huffstetler, her two sons Dan and Tim Huffstetler, and a sister Flo Barnes Left to cherish her memories include 3 grandchildren, Lisa Lawson and husband David, Amy Groves and husband Harry and Danny Huffstetler and wife Lori; 6 great grandchildren, Malissa Cabana (Matt), Michelle Malta (Mike), Kelly Greer (Brian), Cody Huffstetler (Erin), Cathryn Huffstetler, and Clay Groves; great great granddaughter Ziah Watkins Family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship building A Celebration of life service will be held on , 21st at 2:00 p.m. at Olney Presbyterian Church with Reverend Danny Huffstetler and Reverend Scott Huffstetler officiating. Obituary: Winsome Lowman Tots Huffman, 85, of Valdese went home to be with her heavenly father on 18, 2017 at Burke Hospice and Palliative . She was born 21, 1931 in Valdese to the late Will Lowman and Dorothy Lowman. Winsome was a member of First Baptist Church of Rutherford , where she was choir director and taught School for many years. She worked at Alba-Waldensian for 41 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by those who knew her and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Albert Manley Huffman, Sr.; her brothers, LeRoy Lowman, Murray Bug Lowman, and sisters, Mary Proveaux, Venita Burton, Margie Smart, and Dorothea Mull. Surviving Mrs. Huffman are her son, Albert Manley Huffman, Jr. and wife Jean of Valdese; her grandson, Brett Huffman and wife Lauren of Valdese; two great-grandchildren, Claire Huffman and Hayes Huffman of Valdese; a brother, Alfred Lowman and wife Dottie of Connelly Springs; and a sister, Betty Shea of Jacksonville, NC. She is also survived by her dear friend Drema Morgan of Valdese. Services will be held 2:00 P.M. 22, 2017 in the Chapel of Heritage Service in Valdese, with Rev. David Orders officiating. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Heritage Service in Valdese. Obituary: Wilma Mae Hall Huffman, 87, of Hickory, passed away 25, 2015 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born 5, 1928 in Alexander , she was the daughter of the late William David Hall and Gertrude Benfield Hall. She was of the Methodist faith and retired as lunchroom manager of St. Stephens Elementary School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Olivia Diane Seitz; brothers, Eugene Hall and Wade Hall; and sister, Ruth Teague and husband Paul. Wilma is survived by her sons, O. David Fuzzy Huffman and wife Dorothy of Hildebran and O. Dennis Huffman and wife Brenda; granddaughter, Meredith Scott and husband Troy and great-grandchildren, Conor and Mallory Scott and son-in-law, Billy Seitz. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on , 27, 2015 in the Chapel of Drum in Hickory with Pastor Terry King officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
