Obituary: Mr. Fred C. Hawley, Jr., age 75, of Dunn passed away peacefully on , May 14, 2015 at his home surrounded by his faithful family. Mr. Hawley was born 1, 1940 in Sampson the son of the late Fred & Mae Hawley and is preceded in death by his beloved son, Freddie Hawley. Mr. Hawley was a farmer who believed in hardwork and having a good name. He was a man of honor and respect. He graduated from Plain View High School in 1958. He was a fountainhead of knowledge and was always willing to help friends and family with any needs. He was a strong, selfless, and energetic man who always had a smile when times were tough. Mr. Hawley leaves behind a rich harvest of memories to cherish and honor.A Graveside Service will be held , May 17, 2015 at 4:00 pm at Greenwood in Dunn with Dr. Phillip Newton officiating.Mr. Hawley leaves behind his cherished wife, Nancy Warren Hawley of almost 49 years; two daughters, Kathy H. Obituary: Delois “Lois” Ann Brann Hawley, 75, beloved wife of 55 years of the late Wilbur Gray Hawley, passed away , 16, 2014 in her home. She was born in Wilson , 24, 1939, the daughter of the late Ruby Juanita Brann and was a lifelong resident. She was working for the Sugar Plum Shoppe for the past 27 years. She was a member of Peace Church for over 40 years. Besides her husband and mother, she was predeceased by her son Gary Edward Hawley, and her grandson, Hunter Alan Waters. She is survived by her daughters; Lydia Jean Elliott and her husband Jonas of Whitman, WV, and Cynthia Lynn Waters of Elm City; her sons, Wilbur Scott Hawley and Jeffrey Dale Hawley, both of Elm City; her grandchildren, Amanda Stallard (Mitchell), Hannah Elliott, Phillip Mitchell Creel (Rhonda), Crystal Ann Page, Casandra Marie Vick (James), Megan Renee Hawley, Walker Lee Waters, Tucker Clay Waters, and Parker Bryce Waters; her great-grandchildren, Ashira Queen, Braysen Stallard, Alexix Vick, Brianna Vick, Grayson Creel, Key Hooker, and Kierstan Hooker. She also leaves her sisters, Rita Smith (Robert), Brenda Etheridge, and her brother, Clyde Etheridge (Judi) all of Wilson and her nieces and nephews. services will be held at 2 p.m. at Peace Church; The Rev.
