Obituary: GRANITE FALLS - Annie Sue Brittain Haas, 93, passed away 1, 2015 at her residence. Annie was born 29, 1921 in Burke Co. to the late Raymond A. and Fannie Lenona Icard Brittain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Beckley Haas, son, Larry Brittain, daughter, Rebecca Edney, a brother and 4 sisters. She was a member of Amazing Grace Lutheran Church. Surviving are her sons, Tony Haas and wife Neita of Granite Falls, Reginald Haas and wife Audrey of Granite Falls and Jerry Haas and wife, Patricia of Granite Falls; daughters, Doris Grissom and husband, Douglas of Bowling Green, KY and Rhonda Reid of Granite Falls; 14 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and a sister, Eva Pitts of Longview. Services will be , 3, at 2:00 PM at Amazing Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Ryan Ray officiating. Burial will follow at St. Matthews Lutheran Church cemetery. The family will receive friends , 3, from 12:45 until 1:45 P. M. at Amazing Grace Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made to Amazing Grace Lutheran Church, 5721 Rocky Mount Rd., Granite Falls, N. Obituary: Thomas Joseph Haag, 73, of Raleigh, NC passed away on , 14, 2014. He was born in Tipton, Indiana and later moved to Front Royal Virginia, land and Tampa, Florida, Poughkeepsie, New York, and Southampton, England, before settling in Raleigh, North Carolina. Tom served in the US Army from 1957 to 1960. He was a graduate of University of South Florida Class of 1968. Tom began to work for IBM in 1968 and after 25 years of service retired in 1993. At that time he joined Josephine in her business venture Childworks Preschool Established in 1990. Tom is survived by his wife, Josephine Graves Haag; son, Donald L. Haag and spouse Linda H. Haag; daughter, Cheryl Haag Walker and spouse Randy Walker; grandchildren, Christopher Haag and spouse Melanie G. Haag, Aimee Haag, Brian Walker, and Ashley Walker; great grandchildren, Emily Haag and Kayli Haag; brother, Samuel V. Haag and wife Linda; five nephews and two nieces of Florida. He is preceded in death by parents, Carl and Daphne Haag; brother, Donald Haag, and sister, Judy. Obituary: Mr. H. P. Williamson Jr., age 86 of Wilmington NC, went to be with Jesus 6, 2015 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice . Hosea was born 19, 1928 in Columbus NC. He is the son of the late Hosea P. Williamson and Mattie White Williamson. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Marlowe Williamson; three daughters, Wanda Williamson of Garner NC, Teresa Williamson Carroll and husband Henry of Wilmington NC, Melanie Williamson Parker and husband Mike of Knightdale NC. He was blessed with eight grandchildren, Bradley, Allison, Hannah, Meredith, Jonathan, Sarah, Christopher and Kristina. Three great grandchildren, Bennett, Avery, and Maggie. He is also survived by one brother David Williamson and wife Patsy of Castle Hayne NC; two sisters Mamie L Harris of Wilmington NC, Elsie W. Dowless and husband Donald of Bolton, NC. Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on 9th 2015 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church where H.P. has been an active member, by the Reverend Paul Evans. The family will receive visitors at Coble Ward-Smith Service 3915 Oleander Dr. Wilmington NC, on 8th 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
