Obituary: Floyd L. Hair age 75 of Birmingham, AL, passed away 28, 2015. Floyd was born to Floyd R. and Willye Hair in Seminole, OK. He was a graduate of Lamar University and Duke University where he earned a Masters Degree in hospital administration. The health care industry carried him to Texas, Tennessee, and Birmingham, AL. While in Birmingham he was employed at University Hospital for 12 years before his retirement. Following retirement Floyd enjoyed working part time with other retired fellows at Oxmoor Valley Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. He was a long time member of Trinity United Methodist where he served terms on the Administrative Board and the Board of Trustees. Floyd is survived by his wife of 35 years Sue Guthrie Hair and his sister Betty Malhmann of Houston, TX. There will be a memorial service for Mr. Hair on , 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at Trinity United Methodist Church and the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM in the church parlor, Dr. Andrew Wolfe and Dr. Brian Erickson officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that donations be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Alzheimer Association, or the American Heart Association. |
