Obituary: Laverne Homsley, 82, of Judsonia, died , May 17, 2015. She was born 4, 1933 in Rose Bud a daughter of the late Everett and Altha Thacker Carson. She was a farmer and a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Harold Kieth Homsley; daughters, Deborah Rouse and Charlotte Harrison; brothers, Sonny, Larry and Rodger Carson; sisters, Francis Wooten, Mary Goff and Glenda Meharg; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Harold Homsley. Visitation will be on , May 20, 2015 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Chapel with services to begin at 2:00. Obituary: Nelda Dean Homan, age 74, of Rogers, died 26, 2011, at her home. She was born 31, 1936, in Blanchard, Oklahoma, to the late James and Nellie Wilkerson. Nelda met the love of her life, Leo Homan, in 2005. She and Leo had a wonderful few years together. She became a catholic and was active in the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George Wilkerson. Survivors include her beloved husband Leo Homan; sons, Jerry Michael Blaney and wife Jean of Wichita, Kansas, Phillip Lynn Blaney and wife Jan of Wichita, Kansas, Dan W. Blaney and wife Julie of Rogers; sisters, Ruth Parker of Peoria, Arizona, and Nancy Silvi of Dallas, Pennsylvania; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on , 20, 2011, with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Callison-Lough in downtown Rogers. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers. Interment of cremated remains will be at a later date in Omaha, Nebraska. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, 1416 West Poplar, Rogers, AR 72758, or Benton Sunshine School, 3400 Woods Road, Rogers, AR 72758. Obituary: Scott Holzman, 44, of Ozark, AR died , 13, 2015 in his home. He was born 21, 1970 in Fort Smith, AR to Philip W. Holzman and Carolyn J. Cotton Holzman. He was an ASE Certified Technician at Wardens in Ozark, a 1988 graduate of Southside High School and a member of the ROTC and University of Ark. In Fayetteville and Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his father Philip Holzman, Paternal grandparents Herman & Norene Holzman; Maternal grandparents Horace & Corene Cotton. Service will be at 2:00 p.m. , 19th at Smith Mortuary Chapel with interment at Garden of Memories, under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston, AR . He is survived by his mother Carolyn Cotton Holzman of Central City, AR, his beloved bird dog Katie and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Pall Bearers will be Chris Warden, Shane Wilkins, Tim Reynolds, Shane House, Allan McCartney, Ashley Little, Curt Dieter and Sean Lackey.
